  • Bellview Lectures Michael Hatcher Luke 20 "No Marrying in the Resurrection"

    in Religion

What is the meaning of no marrying in the resurrection? Many believe that it precludes marriage today and is proof that we are not in the age of the resurrection, that it is a yet future event. Often it is used as an argument against Covenant Eschatology. In this broadcast we critique the amillennial view and interpretation advanced by Hatcher.

The study of the resurrection and the end of the age connects the text in Luke 20 with the message of Daniel 12 and the parable of the Tares and Wheat. Hatcher makes several false claims. He erroneously claimed we do not believe in the resurrection body, and we don't belive in the resurrection. These statements are untrue and will be explained clearly in the broadcast.

Then he acknowledged that the Sadduccees quotes the Levirate marriage law, another critical point in this discussion. Tune in for a great discussion. Also visit: http://facebook.com/allthingsfulfilled and www.allthingsfulfilled.com. Also visit www.donkpreston.com and bibleprophecy.com

RHeart's Final Salute to Tony Geary w/Jackie Zeman & Ian Buchanan

    in Entertainment

It truly is the end of an era!  Anthony Geary made his final and permanent exit from General Hospital on Monday, July 27 as he had one last conversation w/Sonny then disappeared into the fog for parts unknown. For anyone who has been immersed in the iconic drama it's been a sad moment, though I think tougher for those who worked with Tony for so many years.

Join me tonight with my special guests Jackie Zeman, who played Luke's little sister Bobbie Spencer and Ian Buchanan, who also worked with Tony for so many years.  Both were at the finale goodbye party and have lots of insight into Tony's last year on GH.

  • How Eternal Life Will Ultimately Be Offered to All

    in Christianity

Death does not discriminate. The righteous and sinners all die. Jesus used two widely known tragedies of His day to acknowledge that death can be arbitrary and to draw an important lesson from it: “There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans

whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower of Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all the other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish’” (Luke 13:1-5). The details are unclear. Apparently some Jews were viciously slaughtered by Roman soldiers during a religious ceremony at the temple in Jerusalem. On another occasion a tower collapsed, killing some. Both incidents are examples of the random deaths of innocent people. Jesus says these people weren’t any worse than others.

    Rev.Russell Moore's Bible Study "The Great Gulf Of St.Luke 16" Hell Pt.2

    in The Bible

Last week we talked abot the real need to repent of your sins in light of going to hell. Jesus taught that hell would really be filled with very religious people, so Holy that they forgot they needed to repent of there sins.  St. Luke 16, tells us a story of another man who forgot the laws of God towards his fellowman. He was so Right with himself He forgot brotherly love towards others. When you love God you will love your fellowman as yourself.  Poeple seek money instead of true repentance from God. Riches sometimes brings out the self centeredness of men.

  • The Testimony of a Marred Vessel

    in Christianity

The God I serve is perfect and flawless in all His ways. He has taught me to be the person who He has called me to be. I refuse to let people plan out my course in life. I have been disrespected in so many ways, where people tried to make me "water down" the gospel. I have had former pastors at my former church tell me I'm "too bold" or "too convicting". I have been verbally and physically threatened by pastors at my former church. I have seen favortism and recycling of use of other ministers behind the pulpit. I have been denied to help out in certain ministries because my personality was too strong. I heard the word of the Lord say to me in Luke 4: 18, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free." God is asking us, in the words of Janet Jackson, "What have you done for Me lately?" I hope to get everything I have to say concerning my life in 30 minutes or so off my chest. (Probably not, 30 min. may not be enough time) You may not like what I have to say, but I have to keep it 100% real.

    Blood! Blood of Jesus!

    in Spirituality

    Prayer with the Prophets!

Let's pray like: Jesus, King David, Daniel, Prophetess Anna, Paul and Silas and “YOU”!

    Luke 18:1 (KJV)
    1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

    Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Let us pray until we have the answer!

What is the Focus Prayer today if any?
