    LOW DOWN and DIRTY – The internet radio show that brings you DIRT racing news and results, will be at THE WING MAN in East Greenville, PA Tuesday evening. Our live broadcast will again get underway at 8:05 and finish up around 10pm.

    Happy New Year – We are back this week after a two week vacation for the holidays. We hope you had a blessed Christmas and a great start to the New Year.

    Two weeks after Christmas, the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals arrives like a gift from Santa Claus. In the Oklahoma metropolis of Tulsa, "Santa" is Emmett Hahn and Lanny Edwards, organizers of the five-night race meet since its 1987 inception. Low Down and Dirty will dedicate this weeks show to the Chili Bowl event by highlighting the local teams making the trek to Tulsa.

    First up will be Deb Smith celebrated columnist from the Area Auto Racing News. She will give us the low down on what local ARDC teams who will be traveling to Tulsa for the 29th annual event which kicks off on January 13th.

    Next we will have three key individuals that make up a power house team from Eastern Pennsylvania making the trip to Tulsa. Out of the Mike Heffners, Heffner Racing Enterprise shop, dirvers Alex Bright and Curt Michael will be with us along with famed racing icon Sean Michael. Each of them sharing their thoughts on this major upcoming event.

    All of us at Low Down and Dirty are so happy to be having Mr. Rico Abreu on the show this week. Yes folks the winner of the 29th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire.  This past Saturday night Rico picked up his first Golden Driller trophy and he will be calling in to tell us all about it.

    We got the winners this week. From the great state of Florida we have two guys that pulled of big wins this past weekend down in the Sunshine State. First up we will have Neal “The Wheel” Williams out of Pittsgrove, NJ. Neal pulled of an impressive modified win at Volusia Speedway Park Saturday night. Holding off the best in the business in the 50 lap feature with names like Billy Pauch, Danny Johnson, Tim Fuller and Brett Hearn. Neal will have plenty to talk about. 

    Next up we will have the man that made a lot of us Pennsylvania Proud this past weekend, Mark Smith out of Sunbury PA.  Mark brought home the win in the $10,000 American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real 17th annual King of the 360’s and 14th annual Ronald Laney Memorial at East Bay Raceway Park. This normally quiet guy spoke loud with the right foot and he will be with us to talk all about it.

    We had a special thing happen in PA this past weekend. One of our own young lions of 410 sprint car racing did one of the hardest things in racing. Ryan Smith entered an exclusive group of sprint car pilots in beating the World of Outlaws at their game. Saturday at Port Royal Speedway Ryan made the PA Posse proud once again and he will be joining us to tell us how this special win went down.

    On Low Down and Dirty this week it will be our preview night for the 25th Anniversary of the Linda's Speedway 270 Micro Sprints National Open. This great annual event will take place this week October 23, 24, and 25th. Michael Batz from Linda’s Speedway and small car expert Barry Angstadt will help us break it down.

    We are also fortunate to have drivers Nick Skias and Jason Swavely calling in to get us up to speed on the National Open from a drivers perspective.

    Just before this years Chili Bowl, it was announced that Heffner Racing Enterprises was in search of a driver for their midget racing operation. Sean Michael who leads this effort for Mike Heffner, had cars prepared for Alex Bright and Curt Michael for the trip to Tulsa. Other commitments for both of these drivers would not have them in Heffner’s cars for the 2015 season. During the Chili Bowl trip the drivers seat was filled. We are happy to have Jerry Coons Jr. on our show as the recently announced driver for the potent Mike Heffner #27 midget. We will be finding out how this all happened and what plans Jerry has for the upcoming season.  Jerry Coons Jr. is a true legend in open wheel racing.

    Our guest Tuesday night is truly an icon in the world of racing. He has over 900 starts in NASCAR. A former Rookie of the Year in ASA. Over 425 Nationwide series starts. Three time most popular driver in the Nationwide series. This driver also has over 340 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. In showing his versatility as a driver he has won the Super Late Model Charity Race “Prelude To The Dream” at the Eldora Speedway. Today you can find him behind the microphone working as analyst in all forms of racing or behind the wheel of his IMCA modified. It is our pleasure to have none other than the great Kenny Wallace join us. It is sure to be fun as we explore his 30 plus years in motorsports.

    Turkey, Turkey, Turkey…. we are all about Turkey this week on the Low Down and Dirty internet radio show. Join our pre-Thanksgiving celebration with the man that created the Modified extravaganza known as the Gobbler, Mr Brett Deyo. This Modified event will be a 50-lap main paying $7,117.11.  Brett has a lot planned for this Saturday with the first race getting the green flag at 1pm.

    Also on the show will be last years winner of the Gobbler Mr. Anthony Perrego of Montgomery, N.Y.  In this event last year Anthony pulled of his first modified win of his career.
