in The Bible
"And he said unto them,' The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.'" Luke 22:25-27
The way we win is with the divine weapons of the cross: absorbing blows, dying, not by fighting, killing, retaliating or revenge. 2 Cor 10:1-5; Luke 9:56; Matt 26:52; Matt 5:38-48. Carnal weapons vs Divine weapons Paul the violent zealot became a humble dying submissive servant. Somewhat repetitive but very important.
A corollary to this is a truth stated by Jesus in Lk 11:17-18. A kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. God does not destroy evil. He allows evil to divide against itself at the cross. Satan killed Jesus and thereby detroyed his own kingdom.
Paul, before the revelation, was a violent zealot in the mold of Phineas ( Num 25:6-9; Ps 106:29-30). After the revelation he was no longer a violent legalist killer; he was an absorber of blows; an unconditional lover and a daily dier. Satan is a killer. Heb 2:14. God is a life-giving Spirit. 1 Cor 15:45.

Jesus did it - Paul did it!
"...His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground," (Lk. 22:44).
“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but yes tarry in the city of Jerusalem, until yes be endued with power from on high,” (Lk. 24:49).
Jesus said we would receive power from on high by the Holy Spirit.
We must learn to release the power of the Holy Spirit who resides in us. It is the Holy Spirit who performs, or brings to pass, God's will.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light,” (Gen. 1:1-3).
Both the Spirit and God's Word were necessary to bring about God's will.
“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive yes the Holy Ghost,” (Jn. 20:22).
Through this written witness, we will see that Jesus is talking about more than just "the power to witness."
It's also the power or ability of the Holy Spirit, Himself!

It is little wonder that brethren at the Bellview Lectures have difficulty with the resurrection. They have challenges with the establishment of the kingdom, believing it was all consummated in 30AD. Charles Pogue seems to have no understanding of a transition or the progressive establishment of the church.
He argues the hour was imminent for the "spiritual resurrection" but separates it from the latter part of the text creating two resurrections, a spiritual one firt and a physical one later. He again argues the kingdom was at hand, fully established on Pentecost, never even citing Lk. 21:31. He also does not call attention to the same use of at hand to refer to the parousia or coming of the Lord in such texts as Jas. 5:7-8, 1 Pet. 4:7 and many others.
He asked about Acts 2:38 and the remission of sins, but would not read through to Acts 3:19 which states that sins would be "blotted out" at the restoration of all things when times of refreshing would come from the "presence" of the Lord, i.e. when God would send Christ to them.
John 5:28-29 is a quote from Daniel 12:2. But so is Rom. 13:1-12, which says the resurrection was at hand and that they were in the "last hour". That is after Pentecost, thus after the "spiritual resurrection" which he affirmed was already in progress. So, now he has three resurrections and three hours unless he begins to do some consolidation.
LK 21:26 MENS HEARTS FAILING THEM FOR FEAR AND LOOKING AT THOSE THINGS THAT ARE COMING ON THE EARTH FOR THE POWERS OF HEAVEN SHALL BE SHAKEN.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Releasing a Spell or Curse
A curse will stay with an individual (physics a medium formerly believed to fill the atmosphere and outer space and to carry electromagnetic waves) or cellular, (telecommunications organized as a system of cells, especially for radio communication) and in the subconscious until released. Trances, hypnotize by power of suggestion by conscious mind occupies will in all cases it will be associated with a symbol. The cursing symbol is most often dark, such as black or red, and is usually a cross, circle, triangle, or an “X”.
Break curses and bind them in Jesus' name.
Loose the blessings of Abraham over yourself and your family in Jesus' name.
Once Satan’s power is bound, Jesus enters freely enters into his house and carries off Satan’s possessions. The territory is delivered and Satan loses control.
The Greek word for spoil occurs in two forms, Diapazo and harapzo, which means “an intensive spoiling, plunder and snatching away.” (Lk. 11-22).
The Greek word Skulon, conveys “arms stripped from a foe.” Putting it simply, Satan is stripped of his weapons, (Lk. 11:21, 22). The Greek word Deo means literally ties or fastens, to arrest or paralyze. The Christian reclaims everything that he has stolen. Other words, Christians must aggressively bind the power of demons and prohibits them from the carry out their assignments. Freedom will come as you are honest with yourself and with God. Ask God to help you to see yourself as He sees you.
“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (Jam. 4:8).

Blessed is the man that finds wisdom because length of days is in her right hand and riches and honor in her left hand.
2 Peter 1:2-7
3 ... His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
TURNING FROM THE CROSS
Traces of the characteristic work of Satan as deceiver can be discerned among the disciples of the Christ. He deceives Peter into speaking words of temptation to the Lord, suggesting His turning from the path of the Cross (Matt. 16: 22- 23), and later on takes hold of the same disciple in the Judgment Hall (Lk. 22: 31), prompting him to the lie, "I know not the Man," with the very purpose of deception (Matt. 26: 74). Further traces of the work of the deceiver may be seen in the Epistles of Paul, in his references to the "false apostles," "deceitful workers," and Satan's workings as an "angel of light," and "his ministers as ministers of righteousness" among the people of God (II Cor. 11: 13-15).
WARNING TO THE SLUMBERING CHURCH
Will the masses of distracted and undiscerning “Christians” of the last days be so spiritually blind and oblivious that Satan will get away with achieving his greatest project? Will he accomplish the task of blending and melding “Christianity” with witchcraft? Sadly, it is happening before our very eyes! By means of a crafty plan of gradualism, churches are being transformed into de facto covens of occultism and witchcraft.
