Fresh off releasing her new album, Emotionally Exhausting, Liz Miele joins Sab in the studio. As it turns out they both made the PARENT-APPLAUSE-BREAK-CAUSING decision to start comedy as teenagers. They discuss the pros and cons of starting comedy young and move on the deeper and more deep things (in the depth). Parental relationships, Beyonce sound effects, INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL and Tinder all all fodder for that good, good convo. Ursula is fighting a parking ticket this week so standing in for her is Ursula's voice message to Sabrina in which she disses, slams and curses Sab out.

Liz Uram is a trainer, author, speaker, and host of the popular podcast The Focus Radio. Liz is fanatical about developing great companies and she is going to talk about how Making The Connection can take companies from good to great. Making The Connection is all about aligning individual efforts with organizational goals. Liz explains:
Why employee engagement is at a dismal 30%
What employees really want from their managers
Why Making The Connection matters
The three critical elements to Making The Connection
What even good companies are missing when it comes to Making The Connection
Liz has discovered a common theme among the thousands of individuals she has worked with. Regardless of company size or industry, there are a couple of things that come up repeatedly when discussing areas what employees want more of. When these things are missing, employees feel disconnected and their level of engagement drops.
The good news is that it doesn’t take a lot of time or effort to make the connection. The connection can be strengthened by implementing a few basic principles that create a culture of accountability. A culture of accountability is one in which everyone knows exactly how the work they do add value and individuals take responsibility for their actions. In short, a culture where individual efforts are aligned with organizational goals.

This on demand audio series is a part of the Executive Girlfriends Group Vignette Series. Chicke Fitzgerald interviews Liz Curtis Higgs. The original live interview was 12/19/14.
Liz is the author of more than 30 books, with 4.5 million copies in print. Her latest release, The Women of Christmas, is a heartwarming Bible study wrapped inside a beautiful gift book. Verse by verse, Liz unpacks the biblical stories of Elizabeth, Mary, and Anna, who each welcome the Christ child into the world in a marvelous and miraculous way.
A sacred season is about to unfold for three women whose hearts belong to God.
Elizabeth is barren, yet her trust in God remains fertile. Mary is betrothed in marriage, yet she is willing to bear God’s Son. Anna is a widow full of years, yet she waits patiently, prayerfully for the Messiah to appear in the temple courts. Best-selling author Liz Curtis Higgs explores the biblical stories of Elizabeth, Mary, and Anna, unwrapping each verse with tender care and introducing you afresh to The Women of Christmas. Her messages are biblical, encouraging, down-to-earth, and profoundly funny, helping both sisters and seekers embrace the truth of God’s amazing, unchanging grace.
In her best-selling Bad Girls of the Bible series, Liz breathed new life into ancient tales about the most infamous—and intriguing—women in history, from Jezebel to Mary Magdalene.
