The 2012 Little Rock Marathon was spectacular. Great course, great people and great organization. We'll take over the streets of Little Rock, run past the Governor's mansion, the state capitol, then tackle some fun hills. Along the way you'll hear from a soldier carrying a 45lb pack, many French people, some marathon legends and a replay of a course record by the one and only Leah Thorvilson. There's much, much more in addition to Joe singing some Billy Joel and a song from a famous movie.
So what's this panel all about on Saturday of the event? Who is on it? Where is the venue for the Todd gig? What's Todd performing? When and where do we see the AWATS Stamford DVD?
Jean and Ed join Doug & Mel to spill all the beans about Rockin' Little Rock! www.RockinLittleRock.com
A beautiful day in one of America's favorite cities is the setting for this Rock 'n' Roll race. San Francisco plays host and Transamerica is the sponsor of this point to point half marathon. While at the expo, we visit with some locals who tell us what they love about San Francisco, plus we'll talk with some runners and vendors. Race day is early with the start line near the Pacific Ocean and the finish line at City Hall. Along the way we'll bump into some very tall women who are running, a guy who complains the "On Air" sign is too small, people running for a cause, the Michelob Ultra sponsor and a restaurant owner who doesn't want the show in his space. We also interview people just as they finish. Great stories.
