In this radio show, we interview Mr. Irmantas Naujikas of Neurotechnology, based out Lithuania, making this our second international broadcast. Neurotechnology is different from other Biometric Vendors in that they focus much more heavily upon the software side of Biometrics, rather than the hardware side. They offer Software Development Kits (SDK's) not only large scale fingerprint indentification systems for such applications as AFIS, but also for Iris Recognition, Voice Recgonition, and Facial Recognition. To make things even more interesting, Neurotechnology is also involved in the research and development of Artificial Intelligence, and various Robotics technologies. We will find out about this and much more from Mr. Naujikas in this interview, as well as their plans to remain competitive in the Biometrics Industry.

Simona Goldin, the gal behind Glow30.com, She's a mom to a beautiful little girl, a wife to an awesome husband, an online entrepreneur, and most importantly, a lover of all things healthy. As someone with a severe case of Hashimoto’s Disease – a hypothyroidism condition that affects weight gain, stamina, mood & fertility – She can tell you there is sometimes no outright cure to that illness/food allergy/weight issue affecting you. Desperation led her to realize that with the help of proper nourishment, She could reduce my symptoms without overdosing on medication (which often has side-effects worse than the condition you are treated for). It took several years of personal research, many different doctors, nutritionists and even scientists, to find the tools she needed to get a grip on my health through food. It also took lots of experimenting with diets, cleanses and juice fasts to learn that most of it is total B.S.! This blog and the Glow30 Reset Program is here to support and serve you. Her team and her will do our best to provide you with the juiciest info on healthy living for women. In this inspiring conversation Simona and I discuss how moving from Lithuania to America and from America to Malaysia had an affect on her health and wellbeing and how she overcame it through diet, meditation and being at peace with yourself and deciding to love the relationship with yourself and your food.

World Footprints is pleased to introduce our partner, Pack for a Purpose. Did you know that just by setting aside a small space in your suitcase—5 lbs worth of space—that you could supply crucial education materials or simple medical supplies to children around the world? Our friend, Rebecca Rothney founded “Pack for a Purpose” on the belief that every traveler could have a positive and big impact on a community by donating just a little of their luggage space.
Then, meet our good friend, oscar nominated director Robert Bilheimer. Bob is using his gift of film making to raise awareness about social, cultural, and humanitarian concerns. His company, Worldwide Documentaries, brings to light the way the world is today—a world of small islands of wealth surrounded by vast oceans of poverty and despair. his films include “cry of reason”, for which he was nominated for an academy award; “a closer walk” which examines the global response to the hiv/aids crisis; and most recently “Not My Life” which confronts one of World Footprints causes--the tradegy of human trafficking.
Finally, our dear friend Edvinas Minkstimas, one of Europe’s top emerging young pianists, joins us today. Edvinas hails from Kaunas, Lithuania and made his debut at the age of 14 with The Lithuanian National Philharmonic Orchestra . Edvinas has won international acclaim and multiple awards including his most recent, the Belz-Parker Young Artist Award. In addition to his impressive musical career, Edvinas is also the founder of Global Lithuanian Leaders, a nonprofit organization that has a mission to support Lithuanians all over the world.
So far in 2014, the big lesson is what people have known for centuries; in Eurasia you cannot ignore Russia. The cliché is accurate, Russia is never as weak or as strong as she seems.
What do the developments so far mean not just for Ukraine, but for all the former Soviet Republics, slumbering Western Europe and Russia's near abroad?
To discuss this and more, for the full hour we will have returning guest Dr. Dmitry Gorenburg, Senior Analyst, CNA Strategic Studies, an Associate at Harvard’s Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, an author, and host of the Russian Military Reform blog.
Dr. Gorenburg focuses his research on security issues in the former Soviet Union, Russian military reform, Russian foreign policy, ethnic politics and identity, and Russian regional politics. He is also the editor of the journals Problems of Post-Communism and Russian Politics and Law and a Fellow of the Truman National Security Project. From 2005 through 2010, he was the Executive Director of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies.
We spend most of our episodes focused on music from the Baltimore Maryland area...after all, we hail from the mid-Atlantic region. Occasionally we take a trip into the whispy world of the paranormal.
This week was keep to our core of music, but step outside of the mid-Atlantic region to see what's going on musically in the world. Bev and Lee pack the steamtrunks for an excursion into the world radio marketplace. This provides a really good perspective on music in general, plus we will be featuring some real world-class talent. Genres and styles are fairly diverse, as we hear music from:
Chloe Charlemagne - UK
Alive Way - Lithuania
End of Mind - Seattle WA
Sara Kerr - UK
Frank Carducci - France
Watermelon Sugar - Brooklyn NY
Barbara Kiss - Hungary
Wayne William - Malta
Error Logic - UK
Painted on Water - Chicago
Nations Afire - LA
Natural Born Tellers - Canada
This is not a pre-recorded show, it's as live as we can be, so your call-ins are welcome. We'd like to get your perspective on the world's stage.

On Program #219 Jon talks about:
Mother Michelle's afro being re-done to give her a more Beyonce-esque look!
Wow! Six F-15's to Lithuania! That will show Putin!
Left-wing Rutgers university say Condolenza Rice doesn't meet the standards of "exemplary citizenship" and other criteria to speak at the graduation in the spring!
Obama spends another hour wasting Putin's time pretending to be a world leader.
Each weekday at 8:00 AM Eastern, Jon goes off on the Democrat Left Wing in the country. If there is one thing Jon doesn't care for, it's anyone apologizing for the USA and talking it down. The regime does both at every chance they get - from the WH down the line. Honesty, integity, family values and love of country are words that the Left doesn't have in their moral code!
Jon is off the top many times and he does have a habit of ranting - going off on some tangent and just complaining, but Jon does offer solutions to the obstacles trown in our way to prevent us from upholding the US Constitution! It's a dirty word to the Democrat Left and if they hear it more than once in a day, they begin to foam at the mouth! They are a strange breed of people - Liberalism afterall, IS a mental disorder!
