Ed Smith returns to my show after feeling under the weather.
We recap last night's rubber finale between your Tigers and Kansas City Royals on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball and preview the Twins/Tigers series starting tomorrow.
I let Ed share his thoughts on the latest Mike Babcock updates and CBC's Hockey Night In Canada's Don Cherry's opinion quote that Babcock should "avoid a rebuilding team".
The Lions sign 3 tryouts: safety Nathan Lindsey and wide receivers Erik Lora and Jarred Haggins, to 3-year contracts.
The Michigan Wolverines Football team reports itself for 4 secondary NCAA violations over their head coach Jim Harbaugh's first four months at the school.
Ed Smith and I analyze the Tigers' rout of the Minnesota Twins in the rubber finale of the 3-game series at Comerica Park. We also preview the upcoming series with the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
The Grand Rapids Griffins and Rockford Icehogs face off in Game 4 of the AHL Western Conference Semifinals in the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs. The Griffins led the series 2-1 going into the contest. Game 5 is Sunday at 5.
The Lions hire 3 men into their front office and sign defensive lineman Corey Wootton to a 1-year deal, the Michigan State Spartans Football team recruits another 3-star player, and Red Wings great Gordie Howe announces the construction of his self-named International Bridge from USA to Canada and will have a second round of stem cell treatments.
The Tigers and Minnesota Twins play the middle game of the 3-game series at Comerica Park with Kyle Lobstein and Ricky Nolasco on the mound, as the race in the American League Central Division standings keeps heating up in the middle of May.
The Grand Rapids Griffins take a 2-0 series lead to Rockford and take on the Icehogs in Game 3 of the AHL Western Conference Semifinals in the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs. They have yet to win a playoff game on the road. Did they win one on the road tonight?

The Tigers and Minnesota Twins start yet another very important 3-game series at Comerica Park. Who will be in second place in the American League Central Division? Can the Tigers or Twins jump over the Kansas City Royals for first place? Ed Smith and I analyze and discuss. If the Tigers lose, will we rip on manager Brad Ausmus again?
