So for todays show we're going to be talking about that beautifully painful process of transitioning. Everything goes through it, and some in more depth than others. Transition is indeed a natural process and when it comes to being conscious humans it always happens after we expand our awareness. In this episode of The Intended Life Radio I will be joined by the lovely Julie Malone as we talk about what happens in transition, what is it good for, and what is waiting on the other side.

For something to move forward, to go to that next place, or next level, it has to do something shifting. We are always in transition (change, shift, move, conversion, change-over) unless we have become stagnate, then we are dying. Remember, where the mind goes the body will follow. There is something greater waiting just for you. Listen in for a thought provoking, mind changing teaching. If there is a topic you would like for us to discuss, or if you have comments or questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Brookshire / Pattison, TX speaks about seasons of transition. Transition is defined as movement from one place. The Lord does transition us. If we are willing to move with God in the transition then God will bring us into a new season. God is constantly moving, and if we are going to walk with God then we have to learn how to move with Him. In 2 Kings 2 it says, "And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel. In this passage, Gilgal is a remote place, and Bethel is the place where you have a living encounter with God that marks your life. This journey continues to Jericho, a closed up place. They continue to Jordan, which represents the place that will drown you. It looks like you will not make it sometimes, but if you have a word from God you will make it.
At the end of Elijah and Elisha's journey. Elijah, who was about to leave him asked in 2 Kings 2:9, "And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
When God transitions you, there will be a separation, you may lose some things, and some people. God is wanting to transition you. Look for the signals and be willing to go to the place of Bethel, Jericho and Jordan.
