What are some of the things that make happy people happy? Are they just born happy? Do they have lots of money that makes them happy? Well, looking at what they do that makes them happy means we can duplicate such an experience in our own life. I am going to give you 6 concrete, simple things YOU can do TODAY to begin your journey of happiness.
What makes you feel as though time is standing still? What brings you joy, meaning, and purpose in your life? These are the activities that when we discover them and devote time to them, we become at our best. By expanding on our experiences we are able to reduce our inner critic and increase our sense of joy in life.
All couples are going to have disagreements and will even argue about things at times. No two people can agree on everything at all times no matter how much they love and care about each other. What we do with the disagreements and how we conduct ourselves is what will make or break your relationship. You can in fact deepen your relationship via these disagreements as long as you know how to repair your relationship during and after a disagreement.
People struggle with their weight many times over a lifetime. They go from yo-yo dieting, starving themselves, taking diet pills, undergoing invasive and life altering surgery, and still come out on the other side of all of this struggling with food and gaining back weight lost initially. What if there was a way to get to a place where there simply is no more NEED or URGE to eat things we already know we shouldn't be eating or the amounts of foods that we should be eating? I will share my theory and the results that I have come to with my study so far. Listen in to learn more!!!
Our emotions are important indicators as to what is going on around us in our environment. Learning how to tune into our emotions and pay attention to our gut instincts we can learn how to trust ourselves more and learn how to tune into out own inner wisdom to make decisions that are authentic to who we are.
Karin Weiri-Kolle is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in using a particular type of therapy called EMDR - eyemovement desensitization and reprocessing. This is an incredibly powerful way of getting to the underlying issues that are causing problems in current times are causing people to feel stuck and anxious. By processing events that are "frozen" in the memory, (they can be conscious memories or still latent) people begin to make changes in their lives such as setting healthy boundaries with other people, they react from current situation rather than as though they are re-living the past.
