Update: 2012 Child Welfare Legislation and Decisions
Jill Kucera and Susan Stipe, Senior Assistant Attorneys General, will present a session entitled "Update: 2012 Child Welfare Wyoming Supreme Court Decisions, Legislation and Case Law.” Tune in to hear what has occurred recently with respect to child welfare law in the state. This is a repeat of the session scheduled for October 11 which was terminated because of technical problems.

Oregon Native American Mascot Legislation and Autism Month
We welcome Seahdom Edmo, vice-president of the Oregon Indian Education Association (OIEA) to discuss the current Oregon legislation that looks to overturn the ban on the use of Native American mascots in Oregon schools. The Oregon state Board of Education (OBE) passed a resolution banning the use of all Native American mascots in Oregon schools in May 2012; two Oregon legislators have introduced two bills this session that will overturn the board's decision.
We also welcome Judy Wiley, executive director of the National Indian Parent Information Center, to discuss National Autism Awareness month, and other disability issues affecting Native children, families, and students.
