He is also a consultant, trainer, speaker, historian, artist, cultural critic and cultural entrepreneur.He is currently Manager of Marketing and New Media at a Congreso de Latinos Unidos, a nationally recognized, socially innovative Latino non-profit organization in Philadelphia. Adam is the co-founder, along with Eric Cortes and Anamary Marquez, of the Philadelphia chapter of Latinos in Social Media (LatISM), the largest national organization for social media professionals and non-professionals that produce and consume Latino-based content. Adam was part of the development of the award winning Lehigh Valley Black African Heritage History Project as well as several other cultural and linguistic preservation projects. Adam was educated in the United States and Germany and is a graduate of Cornell University, where he concentrated in the anthropology of religion and aesthetics, German literary criticism, political theory, and film. Adam brings public awareness to the history and experience of multi-ethnic peoples. His own mixed ancestry and cultural background is multi-generational. It includes Spanish & Portuguese Jewish (Sephardic), Dutch, French Creole (French, Spanish, African), French Huguenot, Cherokee, Lenni-Lenape, and Scottish ancestries.Adam considers himself incredibly fortunate to have many “cultural capitalists” among his family, friends, and social networks.
