Dwyane will talk about the day his life changed and the power of perseverance that kept him moving. Injured in 1995, Dwayne got involved in wheelchair sports. He began dancing in 2001 to keep in shape during the off-season and never went back. He works to create dance programs for children and adults who would not typically be given the opportunity to dance and perform. Extensively working with individuals who use wheelchairs for mobility and those who are Deaf, Dwayne offers a unique and creative perspective in dance adaptation.

Hailed by the New York Times as "one of the great modern dancers of his time," I spoke candidly with Desmond Richardson about good home training, what's on his mind while performing onstage, and what he learned from working with Michael Jackson. Listen to my interview with this multi talented artist who has mastered classical, modern, and contemporary dance. Oh, and yes, he taps too. I asked.

Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. Today we're celebrating the 25th anniversary of the greatest American movie ever made, Goodfellas! No, of course no network would ever play Goodfellas on a Saturday morning, but that just isn't enough to stop Grim and Mark from geeking out about it. All those scenes, all those lines, all those songs, all those huge shirt collars, all those f-bombs... remember them all over again with us this morning! We also chat with Goodfellas co-star Illeana Douglas about the anniversary and what it's like to be a part of cinema history, plus her new role on NBC's Welcome to Sweden along with the show's star and creator, Greg Poehler. Welcome to Sweden Season 2 premieres July 19th on NBC, but Season 1 was just released on DVD -- and we've got your free copy right here! That's right, it's another giveaway spectacular sponsored by our friends at Entertainment One (eOne) Films, details at the end of the show! And last, but certainly not least, we send happy bithday wishes to Mr. T and we welcome Mark's beautiful European wife Kinga onto the show as a special guest and explore her own Welcome to Sweden moment, learning to live in new country and culture, and not loving Goodfellas as much as we do. Only after learning Lomilomi (Hawaiian Massage) did he understand the concept of “AKA” or etheric cords that causes much to our physical bodies. Once he started to work on people and could understand what he was “seeing” on their body then he understood how to help them. Many times much of our physical ailments are tied to memories that we hold on to, whether it be words or actions that happened throughout someone’s lifetime or maybe further. When one can reconcile and release those memories one can shift their spiritual and physical body. By learning to understand this he has helped many not only free their body of pain but also to open themselves up to understanding their own “gifts”.
Douglas “Ka`iwi” Ah Hee comes from the windward side of the island of Oahu, Hawai`i. He credits his pure Hawaiian grandmother for his upbringing and “gifts.” She would talk to people that he could not “see.” Growing up as a “sensitive” was never discussed by anyone in his family. With her passing when he was 16 caused much angst on not knowing how to deal with his seeing, feeling and sensing “spirits.” It was not until he had his 2 daughters and they shared with him of what they were “seeing” that he decided to embrace his “gifts.” The greatest and most important thing one must have to do this work is a solid foundation in their Faith.
