Every moment of everyday we are shifting and sifting through our moment by moment experience. How does our meditative stillness practice help us navigate better our inner landscape and can this keep us in peace with all? At times we forget to be present or maybe we have become exhausted or over stressed and under appreciated; all these will effect our moods and what we are telling our self and others may or may not be beneficial. Does this make us bad? NO! it makes us human! relax, reset, restore and realize we are on track, even if the track is muddy, bumpy and unclear. How to get back to the basics....quick. manage the landscape; feel better fast!
This morning I awoke and gave gratitude for the day; then about 90 minutes later I felt as tho I had lost all power....quickly I managed my landscape by:
hydrating...i had forgotten to drink a large glass of water
ate some protein....my green tea and honey had set my blood sugar levels up for failure...and I was failing
moved it! I took a run down the drive and regrounded myself. these are a few simple tools we must do over and over each day if we are to keep up our energy and our Power. How can we be a #powerfulpeacefulwomenrising if the tank is empty! there is more to our practice...

Natalie Servant lives in Ottawa, Canada, and says 'I'm an engineer by training and a software tester by day. I became a compulsive knitter in my 20s and that evolved to designing my own patterns in my 30s. Lace knitting was my first love, but I enjoy working in a variety of techniques. Lately many of my designs have been exploring my love of Art Deco architecture and design.'

Kywuan Terrell Warren
The Son of Incarcerated Mother Starts Successful Clothing Line
Kywuan Terrell Warren was just 11 years old when his mother, Jamila T. Davis, was sentenced to 12 1/2 years in prison for bank fraud. In her absence, Kywuan and his sister, Diamond Baker, struggled to sustain the lifestyle that their single mother once provided. Kywuan says, "When the judge sentenced my mother to over a decade behind bars, I thought my life was over. I don't think he realized by punishing her so harshly, he was actually punishing me!”
Kywuan was accepted to a major university but was unable to afford the tuition. He discussed his dilemma while visiting his mother in federal prison. Together they decided to create outerwear apparel for men as a business. Kywuan brought the design ideas to his mother, then she would go back to her cell, and hand-crocheted each sample. The mother and son creative duo went back and forth until the entire line was complete. The line, The Kywuan Terrell Outerwear Collection, includes trendy, hooded scarves and arm warmers. "It took some time, but we were dedicated. I was able to find some of the greatest hands-craftsmen in the world to manufacture our garments. Each piece is crocheted by hand using 100% high-quality, alpaca thread. Kywuan says, “Each garment in the collection is custom made with love and care, just like the originals that my mother made for me!"
There are over 2 million children across the US whose parents are behind bars. Kywuan is one of the lucky ones. He is currently an honor roll student at a local community college. Armed with a supportive team and determination, the Kywuan Terrell Outerwear Collection is created and highly sought-out by fashion icon
