For 35 years, Jack Armstrong has been receiving and transcribing spiritual teachings through a form of channeling known as Inner Dictation, which is the same phenomenon through which A Course in Miracles was received.
For most of that time, he had no idea what was happening or why, and he was afraid to tell anyone else about it. But five years ago he began sharing this wisdom with the world for the first time through the publication of his book, Lessons from the Source: A Spiritual Guidebook for Navigating Life’s Journey.
Jack still is in awe of the process through which he receives this material, and he sees it as an example of the access we all have to creative expression.
Jack Armstrong is an explorer on the spiritual path whose life’s journey has included stops as a nonprofit executive, Peace Corps volunteer, congressional candidate, small business owner, actor, voiceover artist, and hospice volunteer.
For 35 years, he has been a reluctant, yet willing, conduit for receiving and transcribing the spiritual wisdom he began to share in his book, Lessons from the Source. During that time, he has accumulated more than 350,000 words of remarkable spiritual teachings, most of which he has kept to completely to himself, but which he soon will begin sharing with the world. Jack lives in Portland, Oregon, and strives to practice the lessons he has received.
"More than 1 million people stepped up to a triathlon starting line last year—37 percent of them women, according to USA Triathlon." Women's Health Magazine
Have you recently set a goal that requires energy, time and a whole lot of physical exercise like a triathlon? Deena Knight, wife and stay-at-home Mom of three in Charlotte, North Carolina recently completed the Rambling Rose Triathlon, an event designed to celebrate the empowerment of women.
She shares what it's like to try to schedule in training with three active kids (it doesn't always happen.) Even if a mom or dad is motivated, sometimes it's tough to stick to the plan. But that doesn't mean the dream is done. Game Ready Moms like Deena often push themselves to be living examples of the lessons they share with their children. Listen to her story of pushing through and finishing despite glitches in preparation.

Zora Neale Hurston was quoted as saying, "Love, I find, is like singing." And if that is the case, then Finesse has a very lovely voice. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, with a love of writing since the age of thirteen, Finesse has always utilized her talents and skills with a pen and the gift of words to create stories and literary artistry. Now living in Atlanta, Georgia, Finesse continues to cultivate her skills by writing short stories, poetry, and is in the process of writing her first book. Now following in the footsteps of brilliant African American Female writers such as Zora Neale Hurston, Toni Morrison, and Maya Angelou, Finesse is preparing to share with the world her style of adult romance novels which will take you on a whirlwind tour of love and sensuality with the realness that evokes a myriad of vivid emotions and creative vision.A naturally gifted, passionate, and poetic soul, even when Finesse speaks it's with a flow that doesn't need a beat in order feel the power of her words. A loving mother of three children, Finesse works hard to provide for her family a loving environment that is forever growing and maturing with experiences. These experiences inspire her in ways that mirror sculptors carving master pieces out of lifeless stone. She is serious about her work and her art and it shows in every word, sentence, and paragraph.
Triathlon Legend and Hall of Famer Dave Scott on Developing Young Talent within Endurance Sports 6-Time Triathlon World Champion Dave Scott joined Stephen McCarthy of The McCarthy Project to discuss current trends in the world of triathlon and the development of young athletes.
We covered the following areas specific to endurance athletes.
1. Strength and Conditioning needs to remain or become a vital part of a triathlete's overall program.
2. Balance within each athlete's training program is a key to success, not survival of the fittest training or who works the hardest as method of choice to develop your talent as an endurance athlete.
3. Art and Science are feathered together to find the best program based on the individual athlete, not "mythical, old-wives tales or "science says do this" training programs.
4. Recovery must be promoted as one of the pillars to success in triathlon.
D Hunter Books is a Limited Liability Corporation that I have built from the ground up in a effort to solidify my dreams. It is this accomplishment/achievement that I intend to use as a forum for all of those lost inside of their own personal struggles, trapped inside of circumstances, or left feeling without hope. In REAL LIFE, nothing ever portray the visuals that Warner Brothers displays to capture our imagination.
I am a realist, with broad views that I would like to share with those who have an ear to hear, and the courage to adhere. It is my intent to not only open certain awareness, but to also serve a cause in the evolution of time, and mankind. At one point or another we must all come together to serve to be a reason for someone else, or of our own cause...to be the master of your own destiny. I welcome all to leave your rose colored glasses at the door, and step into the untampered realm of your inner inhibitions as we journey through this reinvention of Life together.
The major cause of strife in a relationship whether two are married or living together sharing the responsibility of maintaining a roof over their heads together, has been proven to be the misunderstanding in all things financial. It's a very touchy subject indeed when you really think about it.We seem to be so open and enthusiastic when first getting together with someone on the sexual level, but we don't seem to be so keen on delving not only into the reality of our feelings toward money and our individual earning power even though it may be even more important than the bliss of our next orgasm. We need to ask some very pertinent questions before singing on the dotted line for that marriage license, mortgage or apartment lease:What are our credit scores? What debts do we have individually? How responsible have we been in the past with paying our bills on time?Do we have a weakness in not being able to control ourselves with a store full of great sales around us at the mall and a pocket full of credit cards?Do we lose sight of our financial expectations when our feelings get the best of us when life hits us hard to tempt us to go on a shopping spree to ease the pain? The questions can go on forever just like the sob stories of divorces and breakups all because of our living in denial on the issue of money.I find it so funny that we can open up ourselves with a person sexually and freely share our fluids and orifices yet not know anything about the basic ideals that they have on the single most important and overriding factor in living a secure and satisfying life with someone.Let us share our wisdom, mishaps and horror stories to motivate all involved to think before getting entangled in somebody elses mess!
Shawn P. Lytle was born and raised in Columbia, S.C. He graduated from Richland Northeast High School. After graduating, he attended Florida State University.
