The dirtiest podcast in football is back, and in Blog Talk Radio form! Ben and I probably won't do very well trying to figure out the bells and whistles of this thing right off the bat, so this is kind of a half test episode and half recap of the San Jose Earthquakes game from yesterday.
In this episode I'll be explaining all the new features of the Thugcast here on BTR and, god willing, perhaps even take a call from someone! Should be a fun time, if not a trainwreck.
The Grand Rapids African American Health Institute (GRAAHI) is a non-profit organization committed to advocating for health parity in the African American community through promoting education and change in public health policy. Evidence based research suggest that there continues to be racial and ethnic disparities when it comes to providing health care and health coverage for minority populations in the United States. African Americans and Hispanics make up approximately 28% of the population in the U.S. but make up 43.1% of the 50 million Americans that don’t have health coverage.
Ladies and gentlemen tonight on this episode of In Life Now Radio we are going to have an opportunity to speak up close with GRAAHI's Executive Director, Mrs. Shannon Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson also serves as the Vice President for the Alliance for Health, a broad based community coalition encouraging optimal health for all through high quality health care services at the lowest cost.
We are certainly in for an informative treat on this episode of In Life Now Radio so get tuned in & make sure you tell your friends!
This edition of the Encouragement Group features David Gerber, Director of Counseling/Shelter Services at St. Christopher’s Inn, comparing the lazy river vs. the roaring rapids and how they relate to addiction and recovery. Like addiction, the roaring rapids may be more exciting, but often lead to severe consequences. Recovery, and its absence of consequences ends up being more fun with the absence of chaos. Listen in as miracles will be shared.
It's a full slate of games in Week 10 with all 12 Big Ten teams in action. We will preview Michigan @ Michigan State, Wisconsin @ Iowa, Illinois @ Penn State, Ohio State @ Purdue, Northwestern @ Nebraska & Minnesota @ Indiana.

There comes a time in all our lives that we get what can be described as a pop-quiz from the Universe. Those times that we must suddenly be able to call up all our tools to deal with an unanticipated situation. This week we'll be looking at how we can keep our tools in good condition for when those inevitable unforseen developments turn our smooth waters into raging rapids. Want to know what a "cup-check" is? Tune in and find out!
As usual, I will be opening the phone lines to listeners that would like to share and seek input on this topic or issues that they are having with creating harmony and resonance in their lives and relationships.
Also, those that log into the chatroom will have the opportunity to post questions and have them addressed on the air. Just let my producer Kyna know that you are posting a question. If you are listening on archives, you can email your questions to: HealingHouseRadio@the-healing-house.com. I will get to as many as possible during each show.
While we would love to get to evryone that calls, we will only be able to get so many on the air. If we can't address your call during the show, you can email your question or comment for the next show.
