Pianist and leader Ron Kobayashi has performed with Mel Torme, Margaret Whiting, KennyBurrell, Peter White, and Peter Frampton. In 1992, Ron performed for President Bill Clinton. The CD is currently being played on radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada and made the "Top 10 Playlist" on KAWC in Arizona. In 1996, the trio was voted "Best Jazz Group in Orange County" by readers of the Orange County Weekly.

Sensei Ford began his lifelong study of the martial arts in 1974 at the age of 7 (at the urging of his mother who is from Japan) in the Okinawan art of Shorin Ryu Karate-Do (Kobayashi Ryu) under the late Sensei Richard Rabago. He was tested for and was promoted to black belt at the age of 13 by Master Tadashi Yamashita, but only after he had failed the test on his first attempt months earlier. He currently holds the rank of Go-Dan (5th Dan) in Karate-do but has a deep appreciation and respect for all martial arts styles.

Another exciting Formula 1 race weekend, took place at the 2012 Grand Prix Korea. Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel was at the wheel of the winning car. His teammate Mark Webber came in second, and Ferrari Felipe Massa, came in third.
Peter Sauber, the head of Sauber Formula 1, made history by naming Monisha Kaltenborn Team Principle of Sauber. She is the first female to be made team principle, in the history of Formula 1 Racing. Kaltenborn owns 33% of Sauber. She is loyal, intelligent, and brings enormous insight on ways to connect her team with fan support. Sauber drivers for 2012 are Kamui Kobayashi, Sergio Perez, and test driver, Estaban Gutierrez.
