This episode of "Stage Right" (the show that looks for conservative voices in the theatre) will focus on the 2012 Republican Theater Festival in Philadelphia. What were the plays and are they truly conservative? Are the playwrights right of center (like the rest of the country) or did they write something that seems conservative just to win a contest? How is "Republican" defined? We'll also take a peek at the work posted to LibertyIsland.com, a site that posts conservative and libertarian writings. Join us!

Kabuki Theater is over-the-top bizarre Japanese theater and a great analogy for that which goes on in DC to furnish you with a theatrical cover for their dastardly shenanigans, pitting left against right and rolling with the corruption under cover of conflict. The truth is the Imperial Establishment seeks the same goal: ABSOLUTE POWER. Yet, every now and then the American experiment in self-governance works and people see through the veil of deceit.
Obamacare is failing at increasingly rapid rates so rather than press for an actual reform the ‘opposition’ party provides cover. RINOs speak against Obamacare (Romneycare) only to gain the votes of conservatives, while they work assiduously to bring about its implementation. If this disaster is fully executed our economy dies, millions will be without insurance, access to physicians and competing for a shrinking pool of private sector jobs, not to mention millions of illegals who will be brought in.
GOP ‘leadership’ is providing cover for Democrats, while seeking to undermine real conservatives. Kabuki reveals the lies of the duopoly.
Tyranny is assured UNLESS liberty-loving people of good conscience can set aside their differences and band together against the rising tide of statism and oligarchy. Grassroots conservatives and libertarians, whether Republicans, alternate party or independent MUST work together to ensure the restoration of constitutionally limited government – it is up to you. To defeat the Democrat-Socialists, first you MUST CRUSH the RINOs, for liberty!

The writer traps two strangers within an urban nightmare: Inside a damaged elevator that is stuck high up in a burning skyscraper.
Disturbing undertones of Sept. 11 aside, Mr. Mosley said his dramatic fiction was mostly about revealing the inner lives of the characters who are grappling with such terrors. “They are those average-looking people you see beside you every day who have interesting back stories that you wouldn’t ever suspect,” he said in a telephone interview from his home in Brooklyn.

Friend, what does Jell-O, Fat Albert, and Huxtable have in common? …America’s Dad, Bill Cosby. Every day brings new allegations of sexual misconduct against the 77-year-old former “Cosby Show” creator. Cosby has gone to great lengths to ignore, refuse comment, deny the allegations, and remain silent. The public is calling for an explanation and a modern-day crucifixion, but our question of the day Is Silence Consent? Helping us with that as we continue our Election Series with have our “Domino Talk” duo, the Smith Brothers – Nehemiah & Jacques. Both are both “raising the consciousness” and providing a voice to world -- Reverend Nehemiah Smith, Editor-in-Chief of The Weekly Defender (http://weeklydefender.com/?section=home) and Bro. Jacques Smith -- man of God, father, husband, engineer. Both operate in the theater of ideas.
