Tune in LIVE this Sunday August 17th at 4pm PDT as I welcome back Alan Brown to the show, ‘Compensate for Your Unstructured Brain with External Structures for Productivity’. You are encouraged to call into the show with questions for Justine aka Miss ADD, or Alan at (917) 889-7025.
It’s no secret that we ADDers lack internal structures. We lack linear, structured thinking – the kind that allows lucid goal-setting and crisply rationalized prioritization. We lack a realistically structured sense of time, resulting in horrendous time management, etc. All of which comes home to roost big time for those of us working from home or otherwise independently – but even affects those of us working in an otherwise structured workplace.
We can work on these weak mental structures to mitigate some of the associated miseries, but the surest way to compensate for our lack of internal structure is to build our own external structures.
Alan Brown, creator of the acclaimed ADD Crusher™ video series, presents a series of specific structural lackings paired with ways to build your own structures. Whether you work at home, independently or benefit somewhat from a corporate work structure, these tips will boost your productivity.

Is it really worth the fight to be organized. For many ADHD people it is a life-long battle we endure and for many of us there is no end in sight. Is there any hope for us who cannot seem to go a day without searching for our wallet,purse, or car keys? Will we ever have total recall as to the location of our stuff. Justine Ruotolo and Tom Nardone will delve into this and discuss things such as;
picking your battles
benefits of organization
benefits of disorganization
Any and all are invited to check in and share their opinions on this edition of The MissADD Show

This Sunday I will be joined by Chris C. De Baca! He is a member of my support group and will talk about his story and his growth! Chris is 47 and was raised in Hawthorne, CA. After Graduating from high school, he went on to trade school. Chris joined the Army, got married, and had a son. While in the Army, Chris earned a bachelor’s degree. After serving 21 years he and his family retired from the Army and settled into civilian life in Ventura, CA.
In 2011 Chris was diagnosed with and began treatment for Adult ADHD. His diagnosis answered four decades of questions previously written off by others as simply having poor character traits or work ethics. While this opened a door to a new reality, it did little to prepare him from the impending collapse of his life.
It's natural for survivors to fear future traumas. Living in a world that offers little control over what can, will and does happen to you can add to and increase levels of anxiety. One way to reduce those feelings -- and offer yourself more control -- is to think through your advanced directives. How do you want things to go if a trauma occurs and you lose the ability to effectively communicate your wants, desires and needs?
Expert Leah Sharrock, RN, BSN, CHPN, is a field educator at Hospice of Palm Beach County and joins host Michele Rosenthal to discuss how to be in control even when everything spins out of control.
Michele Rosenthal is a popular keynote speaker, award-winning author and post-trauma coach. Her shows combine scientific research, cutting-edge guests and personal stories that highlight the challenges and successes of deliberately deciding to change the direction of your life.
