William & Daniel Clarke
The vision of these two young men is to save the orangutans of Borneo and Sumatra. Their mission is to create greater awareness of the issues facing the orangutan and their habitat, to empower children and adults to make a difference and to raise funds to help save orangutans from extinction. Two brothers, one wheelchair and a passion to make a difference. Sometimes I can’t believe the exceptional human beings I get to learn about and interview. Their book, Tears in the Jungle, is a fun and educational way for children to learn about the environment and understand how they can make a difference. I hope you plan to join me because the story of these two young people from Australia and what kind of global impact they are having is something we all want to know about. This show is made possible through the generous support of Habitat for Humanity Tucson.

Jack Hanna-Animal expert “Jungle Jack” Hanna is one of the most visible and respected ambassadors between the human and animal worlds. He is saying that we should "love our pet and trust our vet." The family veterinarian plays a pivotal role in the life of our pets and similarly, there are countless vets who fight disease and in some cases, extinction in our favorite animal species around the world. America’s Favorite Zookeeper Jack Hanna says now it’s time to say ‘thank you” to all animal doctors. Jungle Jack is fresh off a trip to Africa visiting the Gorilla Doctors, a group of veterinarians charged with assisting the critically endangered mountain gorilla population. The lottery might be more important than the whole 2015-16 season for teams like the Knicks, Sixers, and Lakers. And the Clippers just collapsed after being up 3-1 over the Rockets, is it time to break the band up? Then, in the East, do the Hawks have what it takes to get past LeBron and the Cavs? The Arizona Cardinals have another appearance on Sunday Night Football this week. They face the 8-1 Cincinnati Bengals at home after having defeated the Seattle Seahawks 39-32 in Seattle. The game features two of the NFL's best teams and two of the league's most balanced teams offensively and defensively.
To preview the game, Scott Bantel from SB Nation's Cincy Jungle was a guest on the show with host Jess Root and talked about a whole bunch of things leading up to the game.
Of course, we couldn't ignore the Carson Palmer angle, so we discussed what his departure meant for him and for Cincinnati. Clearly, it worked out for everyone.
Bantel tells us about how Bengals fans have elevated expectations and, despite all the success the last four years, are really in a wait-and-see mode for the team until the postseason.
He gives us the implications of the injuries they have suffered on defense and also the matchups that favor and do not favor the Bengals. And that whole prime time thing with Andy Dalton and the Bengals? There might be something to that.
Justified Work It's a jungle out there. Sometimes in the jungle we may need to strike, defend, strike back or conduct a pre-emptive strike. There is an extra source of power when we work with justice on our side. When we know we are right and just with our actions, we are more effective with our magic. The problem is, most people think they are right. Even the most horrific of the worlds mass murderers believed they were justified. So how do we know we are justified when casting? Well, that's the topic of tonights show. What tends to be considered justified, how to tell if you are justified. We will discuss this and more. We welcome your calls, questions and input on another riveting episode of Candelos Corner.
