When I think of phenomenal women certainly Karen Walsh is definitely one who comes to my mind. She is sharp, quick wit, sensitive and caring. A woman with a heart to give more than she has been given. She is wife of the Sr. Pastor of Haili Church in Hilo Hawaii. Haili Church sits upon the site of the great revival that took place on the island of Hawaii in the mid 1850's.
Karen's dedication to raise awareness of our humanity has touched many lives and definitely made an impact on mine. She is a professional photographer, multi-award winning editor, journalist and feature writer.
Karen is smart, funny and very knowledgeable. God has blessed her life. She has 3 grown children and two beautiful grand-children. Karen resides in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, Hawaii. Tonight we share the life expectations and journey of this phenomenal woman.

A Date With Judy - "Going to a Sinatra Movie" on OTR. Initially served as replacement for Bob Hope's show, A Date with Judy was teenage sitcom that aired on NBC and ABC from 1941 to 1950. The story was about the life of teenager named Judy Foster, played by actresses Ann Gillis (1941), Dennie Ellis (1942), and Louis Erickson (1943-1950). The show also had different sponsors at different periods, which include Bristol Myers, Tums, Ford Motors, and Revere Cameras. At first, the show was aired every summer, from June to September. However, since the audience, particularly the teens, could very much relate to Judy's problems at school, with her parents, and love life, the show grew very popular. As a result, in 1944, it started to be heard all-year round, and lasted for seven more years, with the final episode broadcast on May 25, 1950. A Date with Judy was also adapted for the big screen on 1948 starring Jane Powell for the lead role, along with Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Stack, Carmen Miranda, and Wallace Beery as her co-stars. A comic book adaptation was also released by the National Periodical Publications. Before television, families would gather around the radio every night and imagine with their eyes. Some of the biggest stars of the screen were featured on these popular radio shows. You will be amazed at how interesting radio can be and how your imagination can run wild. Here, you will find well known celebrities such as Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Jack Benny, and more… . Hosted by Dr. Leigh-Davis. www.DrLeigh-Davis.com or www.IMDb.me/DrLeigh-Davis. What would it be like to NOT have to sit in the salon chair every 8 or so weeks to get your roots covered?
What would it be like to flip a big middle finger at society's view about what makes a woman beautiful?
While I'm a coach, speaker and writer about all things midlife - I'm also going through the unknown of it in real time and right now, I'm about to embark on a mission to answer all these questions and more.
So I'm starting a special sub-section of the podcast called Gray Hair Adventures (GHA) where I'll be chronicalling my experiences, interviewing those that have gone before me, those on the fence and those that say "no way to the gray".
In this first episode I explain why I'm doing it and offer a few tips to those of you who are thinking about it but haven't quite tipped over the edge.
Let the grays begin!
