Tina M. Games is the author of Journaling by the Moonlight: A Mother's Path to Self-Discovery (an interactive book with an accompanying deck of 54 journaling prompt cards). As a certified creativity and life purpose coach, she is the "Moonlight Muse" for women who want to tap into the "full moon within" and claim their authentic self, both personally and professionally. Through her signature coaching program, based on the phases of the moon, Tina gently guides women from darkness to light as they create an authentic vision filled with purpose, passion and creative expression. Tina has always had a fascination with the moon. After studying the phases of the moon in astronomy classes and the astrological impact it can have on personal transformation, she began to explore the spiritual connections that the moon has brought to many cultures over thousands of years. No matter where we are in the world, we can see the moon. It’s something that we all have in common. The show will give Tina the opportunity to share stories from other moms who embarked on similar journeys. The book was designed as a workbook with a journaling format, the book allows for personal reflection with many opportunities to answer the question, “I’m a mother, but who am I really?” Tina also introduces moon sign astrology and moon folklore to lay the foundation for a spiritual, moonlit journey toward an authentic life filled with purpose, passion and creative expression. Embark on an intimate adventure of self-exploration - and discover your full moon.

As a former "journalist" myself (yes, sports writing counts), who learned to write in second grade, let's take a 'journaling' lesson from the best Journaling Therapist there is. So grab a pin and paper; as Barbara Stahura, a certified journal facilitator, is on TMDS tonight. A lady who had been journaling on and off for 20 years when her husband, Ken Willingham, sustained a TBI in a hit-and-run almost a decade ago. The day after the accident, she began journaling in earnest as a healthy way of coping with the chaos and fear resulting from becoming Ken’s caregiver. In 2007, she created the first journaling workshop for people with brain injury and presented the program for five years at a rehab hospital when they lived in Tucson, AZ. Today, they reside in Newburg, Indiana, and she facilitates journaling groups for people with BI’s and for family caregivers at HealthSouth Rehab Hospital in Evansville, Ind. The groups run for six weeks and are offered once each quarter, at no charge to participants. Pay it back, I like it! Folks often return numerous times having found support, respect, and social involvement. In 2009, her original workshop evolved into the first journaling book for people with brain injury. “After Brain Injury: Telling Your Story” – (I bought one, now where is it?). The book has won acclaim from therapists, journal facilitators, speech-language therapists, researchers, and others. The book is also helpful for family caregivers discover exercises to their own needs. Barbara is a certified journal therapist and a certified compassion fatigue educator as well. She is editor of the Lash Publishing’s new magazine “Brain Injury Journey – Hope, Help, Healing,” Let's come up with something the 2nd hour, we usually do.<
