Writer Jordan Okun joins host Robin Milling to talk about the inspiration for his debut novel L.A. Fadeaway, about what it takes to rise up the ranks to become a Hollywood agent.
Jordan himself got his start at ICM, one of the biggest talent agencies in Hollywood, and rose through the assistant ranks. Disillusioned with the reality of the job, it was there he began journaling. Those journals became the blueprint for his protoganist, who would achieve the agency status Jordan initially desired.
Jordan admits his own guilty pleasure for tabloid gossip can get the best of him, sharing an insider's view into the goings-on in the Hollywood biz. He tells Robin his book is a cautionary tale as well as entertainment. In fact some agents have been 'sniffing' around for possible film and television deals. Jordan would love to see his book made into a film with Andrew Garfield as the lead but first he is working on his second novel, exploring the fraternity world.

Today I have an RT BOOKlovers Convention special show for you because I will be chatting with romance author C. H. Admirand who will be talking about her upcoming novels. And she may even give us a sneak peek into some of her future books as well as any of her other novels that she may have in the works right now and any other projects. She will be telling us about her writing experience and what she has in the works writing wise.
C.H. was born in Aiken, South Carolina, but her parents moved back to northern New Jersey where she grew up, which if you’ve met her would explain a lot. She’s always had her nose in a book, has traveled the world over, and even tested the time-space continuum, thanks to the awesome power of the written word. One of her writing quirks is that she loves to include bits and pieces of her ancestors and ancestry in all of her books. Her family centers her and keeps her sane, which is why she enjoys adding elements of family, hearth, and home in all of her romances.
With 8 short stories and 15 novels to her credit, this award-winning, multi-published author’s books are available in paperback, hardcover, trade paperback, magazine, e-book, and audio book. You can find out more about her by either going to her Website, Blog, Facebook Author Page or Twitter.

Tonight we are delighted to talk with Mr. Jordan Maxwell.
For more than 50 years, Jordan continues as a preeminent researcher and independent scholar in the field of occult and religious philosophy. His interest in these subjects began as far back as 1959. He served for three-and-a-half years as the Religion Editor of Truth Seeker Magazine, America's oldest Freethought Journal (which was established in 1873). His work exploring the hidden foundations of Western religions and secret societies has captivated the attention of critical thinkers from around the world.
He has conducted dozens of intensive seminars; hosted his own radio talk shows; guested on more than 600 radio shows; and has written, produced and appeared in numerous television shows and documentaries (including three two-hour specials for the CBS network, as well as the internationally acclaimed five-part Ancient Mystery Series) - all devoted to understanding ancient religions and their pervasive influence on the world today.
His work on the subject of secret societies and their symbols, has fascinated his world wide audience for decades.
For the next 90 minutes Jordan will take us on a ride through the origins of the Abrahamic religions, the ancient Mysteries, the importance of seeking truth, his friendship with Manly P. Hall, the true foundation of the Roman Church as we also discuss UFOs and ETs, the ancient pyramids, Zecharia Sitchen, Preston Nichols and concluding with his thoughts on the Philadelphia experiment.

Wendy Jordan, Senior analyst for Taxpayers for Common Sense, talks “turkey” about the F-35 in her new report, “The Unaffordable F-35.” The report comes completely from unclassified, open sources. Jordan emphasizes that the report examines the F-35 project from the perspective of taxpayers. The report doesn’t get into the capabilities or technology of the project, but rather if it is a logical expenditure from a taxpayer’s perspective.
