Style with Trysh ~ Jon Marc

    in Entertainment

K.Secret Dunbar is CEO/Founder/Creative Director of Jon Marc and Secret7; both under the umbrella of Seven Curves. Her passion for fashion began at the very young age of two, when she insisted on dressing herself.

Growing up she’d often altered garments for a polished fit as she developed her curves. Before graduating high school she secured a management position in retail; it was then when she realized fashion was not only her passion it was also her purpose. A few years later, she opened a brick and mortar; this was the beginning of her seeking a place in the fashion market as a retailer. Although the business was successful, it was still difficult for K.Secret to find manufactured garments to fit the curvy hourglass figure of her and customers with the "curvy woman" issue. Very frustrated she resorted to altering inventory to compliment the shape of hourglass curves. Eventually, she constructed an entire garment and from there was inspired to design for women with the same curvy women complexes.

K.Secret soon discovered with fashion design and apparel construction there was a need for fashion education. A stickler for perfection she closed the business and pursued a full time degree in Fashion Merchandise and Retail Management at the Art Institute of Washington. During her studies she discovered a great love for Fashion History, Product Development, Merchandise Management and Branding; these courses were the foundation of her future in fashion as a designer. Shortly before receiving a Bachelor’s Degree, her research solidified the demand for her niche in the market; women with hour glass curves. This revelation was the births of Jon Marc- a clothing line for women with hourglass curves, Secret7- the footwear line (coming soon), and Seven Curves- the online boutique.

Pip & Bloom Interviews with Az 1 Promo Radio

    in Music

BLOOM BIO: Bloom is one of those inspiring, beautiful people you meet for a moment yet remember for a lifetime. Listening to this girl sing is like joining her in the front seat of a fast scarlet-red convertible, cruising the coast then heading for the mountains. With the feeling of the wind in your hair, you’ll have a smile on your face for the entire ride, even though it might be but for a brief moment in time before she takes off on the next part of her extraordinary journey.

Her songs, penned at the piano, are truly great pop songs yet make no mistake; these are not lightweight sugary songs with a cherry on top.
Bloom’s care-free attitude, her love of life, her stunning voice and talent for song writing, her drive and her beauty are apparent from the moment she starts to sing. This is one girl who will never give up, and who will no doubt get there – in a red convertible with the wind in her hair.

    The May-Pac/Jon Jones Call-in Special

    in Sports

It's time for what some people are already calling the fight of the century even before it actually goes down. The Fight News Unlimited crew will reserve our judgment for after the fight. Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are finally going to fight. Tom Padgett, Tony Penecale, and Rich Bergeron will break down their picks for the outcomes, which run the table of possibilities. We will also discuss the unfortunate and unprecedented stripping of the UFC Light Heavyweight Title from Jon "Bones" Jones, who is facing potential jail time in a hit and run incident in which a pregnant woman broke her arm. The UFC suspended Jones indefinitely after the MMA star allegedly ran from the scene of the accident after retrieving cash from the rental car that struck two other vehicles, including the one the injured woman was in. This incident is eerily similar to the Rampage Jackson incident where he claimed to be hopped up on energy drinks, and oddly timed with Rampage's recent return to the UFC. The stage is now set for Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony "Rumble" Johnson, a former guest of our show here. We'll also have some points in the show where we will be taking calls from listeners, so tune and and chime in if you can. We'd like to get a community opinion on these topics and other combat sports issues.
