FUN4daMental - Felisha Bradshaw
It has taken what seems like a lifetime to be able to express my creative thoughts in a way that reflects my experiences and knowledge.My fascination grew when my mother gave me a book to read; Manchild in the Promise Land by Claude Brown. From there, I ventured into readings such as Rainbow Jordan by Alice Childress. These authors captured the struggle has been within the urban community through generations. But when I picked up True to the Game, Coldest Winter Ever up to Project Chick and all of Kwan’s writings I then realized that not only has struggle played a forever existing role in African American’s lives but has allowed us to create a world outside of rap music where we can tell our stories and experiences in black and white. We are shattering the myth that black folx don’t read with each turn of a page. The world of urban fiction has opened the doors for voices that normally would never have been heard. I started expressing my views in reference to urban life through poetry, inspired by Maya Angelou, which turned into short stories then "Eyes on the Pryze." Currently signed to Queen Midas Books and penned her sophomore and Jr. books SISTAH CIRCLE 1&2. Coming in March the sequel for EYES ON THE PRYZE will drop titled 69 DEGREES. So watch out Urban Fiction there is a new pen in town and it’s being held by, Felisha Bradshaw.

JOHN ENGHAUSER
Singer/Songwriter, John Enghauser, has been on the original music scene since the mid 90's. Beginning with his band Jamawokee, a high octane 4-piece funk rock project which debuted in Massachusetts, John began honing his songwriting and frontman skills. The band released its first recording self-titled "Jamawokee" in 1996. In the late 90's, John fronted his own original group, Jeng, where he wrote all of the material and whose potent live show piqued the interest of record labels such as Columbia and Virgin Records. John released his second album "Larium Dream" which was a compilation of Jeng songs he'd written during his time with the band. It was around this time that John also served as Music Director and contributing songwriter on the indie films "Urban Relics" and "When it Rains". The "Urban Relics" Soundtrack would mark John's 3rd official release to date. In 2000, Enghauser ventured westward where he landed in California. After several musical stints in San Francisco and Los Angeles, John has settled in the bay area where he's just completed his long anticipated fourth release "Lost In The Pages". In addition to all vocals, John performs guitar, bass and keyboards on the CD. Currently, John's new band is performing and promoting "Lost in the Pages" live while the CD is being played in 13 countries worldwide including England, Australia, Germany, France, New Zealand, Canada and The U.S.A. "Lost in the Pages" has already received critical acclaim by being nominated by LA Music Awards as "Best Album" in two categories.

Interview with Trinity Bradshaw
Summerside, PEI native TRINITY BRADSHAW has been singing at telethons, charity events, and various community events since she was three years old. She appeared on the TV show Emily Of New Moon, and won various local competitions, before becoming the youngest winner of the Summerside Festival Talent Search at age 14. In 2011, she moved to Calgary, Alberta to continue developing her skills as a roots, rock, pop and country crossover artist. 2012 was perhaps Trinity's most exciting year yet as she spent several months in the studio with producer Trey Mills (Melanie Fiona, X-Quisite, Canadian Brass) recording songs for her debut EP. The album will be available on May 7th and features the current single Big Town. This 21-year-old talented Canadian singer/songwriter/entertainer is currently showcasing across Canada and beyond - including a dynamic performance recently at Toronto's The Rivoli.
