This episode we have Jillian Janson and she's ready to rock the world of adult entertainment, Jillian wants you to know she is the starlet to watch! Raised in the midwest in a household of strong women, she was never shy about her sexuality. Growing up in a conservative area where anything sexual was ignored, Jillian found her lusty urges frowned upon. Exploring her budding sexuality, and loving every minute of it, she pushed on through her teenage years feeling awkward in her skin for wanting to express herself creatively and sexually. Turning to adult entertainment as a mentor, Jillian honed a refined sense of her sexual prowess at a young age, turning the growing murmurs of her peers into a positive catalyst for her growing desire to explore the adult industry.
Overnight sensation, Joanna Rohrback galloped on the scene as the new exercise trend, Prancercise, and went viral with a blaze recieving over 9 million views on the internet in 2013, making the rounds of news and talk shows, and the subject of countless parodies.
Jillian welcomes the opportunity to talk with the “Prancing Lady” and examine, not only the tenets of her exercise program and how she feels about her 2013 success, but what the future holds for Joanna Rohrback, and where she’s headed with all this steam in the Year of the Horse!
2014 couldn’t be more aptly named for Prancercise considering past shows where Jillian speaks about the Year of the Horse as being the year to expect more in the physical realm, not only embracing more physicality, but also embracing more playfulness. Prancercise is poised to do it all!
Today I am speaking with Jillian Darlington creator and founder of the MomCo App. She is a single mom, former small business owner and entrepreneur here in San Diego. Check out Jillian's Kickstarter Campaign.
Being a full time mom to my son and getting to spending time with my friends and their children was something that meant so much to me and made me so happy, I was unwilling to give it up for a 9 to 5 job. Fate intervened at that time when a girlfriend told me that my favorite indoor playground was for sale. I got a loan and put in an offer that same week. I owned Play Town for almost 4 years. Owning my own business gave me the flexibility to be with my son as much as I needed to be and I got to spend my work time with children and parents. I got to keep my world intact. Helping parents and making children happy seems to be what I do best and nothing makes me happier.
Recently a couple of events have inspired me to create the MomCo App. I have lost a number of my close friends due to geographical moves. Their families have grown so they have had to move to larger houses or their husbands jobs were relocated, leaving me and my son behind. This brought up two things; I needed to make some more friends close by and a lot of my friends have also been struggling to make new friends since their moves. I knew the technology existed to meet people through Apps so I thought, “Why not build an App so moms no longer have to struggle to meet other moms close by?” With the MomCo App you can effortlessly find and connect with other moms close by. The service provider side of the App comes from also knowing the needs of a new mom to find out what resources and services are available to them. The goal of the MomCo App is to make being a mom easier, plain and simple.
