This multi-million dollar, 17-acre Estate encompasses all of the majesty that one could imagine. Our gorgeous 11,000 square foot Antebellum mansion sits majestically on a six-acre private island. The mansion boasts 8,000 square feet of porches with stunning panoramic lake views. All four sides adorn asouthern, old-world facade, complete with 8 large Doric order columns. The interior reveals two curved staircases facing one another, opposite hand in a spacious Grand Hall, perfect for wedding ceremonies or receptions. The world class barn is draped in a magical palette of lights for the most amazingly romantic setting. It also boasts beautiful lake views on all four sides. We have three very popular outdoor ceremony sites. On the Island we have the elegant fountain in front of the Mansion and a lakeside ceremony site with breathtaking views of Lay Lake. Beside the barn we have a beautiful pasture ceremony site that also affords a lakeside setting. Whether you’re involved in a traditional Jewish wedding, an interfaith wedding, or even a Jew-ish wedding, this is the online place for you — a wedding havurah, if you will.
Alison Friedman owns and operates The Wedding Yentas and is a wannabe Carrie Bradshaw of all things wedding! She always loved everything about weddings and dreamed of finding the man to sweep her off her feet who would complete the most important element of the wedding day: love!
The Wedding Yentas began because there was no other site like it on the Internet. So why is this site different from all other sites? You will always find fresh, daily posts covering everything from Real Jewish Weddings, explanations of traditions, DIY ideas, the latest wedding trends, and giveaways! "The Synagogue in Christian Society: Part 2"
Since the days of Christ and the apostles, Church-vs-Synagogue relations have been anything but good. What started as a movement within Judaism became a separate movement all its own. The hostility was compounded by the Synagogue's reaction to what it called a heretical sect. The Church responded with over-reaction. The rancor increased over centuries, and as the Church became mainstream in formerly pagan society, the Old Testament "People of the Book" were increasingly marginalized and persecuted. In the midst of all this, and DESPITE it all, many Jews came to believe that Jesus of Nazareth was indeed the promised Messiah. This Thursday we look at it all more closely in the 2nd of a 5-part series. Tune in and take notes! Your host, Rev. Rick Anderson on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm EDT. Listen LIVE at www.blogtalkradio.com/fougcrew or through Twitter, LinkedIn, GooglePlus and facebook.com/fougcrew. To call with a comment or question: 347-324-5750.

Nicole's Guest: Dr. Jon Ireland
Dr. Jon Ireland has been officiating wedding ceremonies for over 25 years and is highly sought after by celebrity couples getting married, not to mention the esteemed resorts such as at the San Ysidro Ranch, The Four Seasons, The Biltmore, and the luxurious Bacara Resort and Spa. Some people find it interesting that he has officiated weddings and vow renewals for major celebrities and iconic stars like rock star Gene Simmons, actress Tiffany Thiessen, Comedian Jeff Dunham, & singer Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas, as well as many others.
Dr. Jon himself has been married to his wife for over 30 years so Jon "knows about marriage". Jon has been the Team Leader and Teaching Pastor at Ocean Hills Church in Santa Barbara, CA since 1998. For fun: Jon loves his daily Americano, reading anything about leadership, friendship, and love.
Amazing facts: In September he completed the Alcatraz swim with his sister, and in January he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with his sister and 75 year old dad!!!!!!!
From Crusades to Reformation: The Jews in Christian Society
Part 3 of our 5-part series begins with the Church supreme in Europe, yet compromised by gross superstition, a defection from the doctrines of Christ, and an entrenched suspicion and hatred of the Jews. Christian armies march east to free Jerusalem's holy sites from the Muslims, but as they go, they mete out vengeance on the Jews, stirred on by the words of Guibert of Nogent: "We desire combat with the enemies of God in the East, but we have under our eyes the Jews, a race more inimical to God than all the others. We are doing this whole [Crusade] thing backwards." This series attempts to explain the reasons why the Jewish community has seen fit to reject the claims of Jesus as taught by the Church, but explains as well why some have not followed this path. Tune in and take notes! Your host, Rev. Rick Anderson on "Jewish Roots", an Internet pod-cast each Thursday at 9:30 pm EDT. Listen LIVE at www.blogtalkradio.com/fougcrew.
