A Lady Priest? A Lady Bishop?!!
Of course! Why not?
Join Kristina Rake, M.A. (theology and scripture) for this detailed and riveting answer to the Roman Catholic Church's objections against female ordination to Holy Orders. Kristina will explore the 4 reasons why the Roman Church claims it can never ordain women, while examining the historical, theological, biblical, spiritual, and psychological reasons why that position is untenable and why a female priesthood is not just possible, it's valid and necessary.
Many talk of the next great revival , we discuss this in this next program
Luk_24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

We've turned the calendar to October and that's means some great sports action is in full swing. NFL and college football season are getting underway, baseball's playoffs have begun and the NBA and NHL seasons are getting into training camps. But sports isn't just something fun to play in the yard or watch on TV. The lessons we learn from sports can be applied to our faith lives as well. On the next Catholic Cast, Amber, Brent and John tell you how you can apply the lessons of sport to the Christian life and how our scriptures can help us in that journey. Join us Sunday at 7pmET, 6pmCT on the Catholic Cast only on BlogTalkRadio.
This episode is dedicated to all the victims of Roman Catholic abuse, whose pain was too much for them and they committed suicide.
I wrote a letter to the editor in response to Pope Francis asking priest abuse victims to forgive him and the church for our abuses. This is a part of that response:
"How can Paul Anthony Carson, whom upon seeing the priest whom raped him walking down the street and then going home and hanging himself, being found by his parents, forgive him?
How can Emma Foster, whom was raped by Father Kevin O'Donnell, while at a primary school whom committed suicide because of it, forgive him?
How can Daniel Neill, whom committed suicide because of his rapist priest, Joseph Gallagher, forgive him?
How can the 30 boys raped at the St Alipius primary school, whom committed suicide forgive him for their rapes?
There are about a thousand or more victims of these evil crimes who committed suicide. Tonight, we honor their memory and call to task the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, all of the Cardinals, Bishops and Archbishops, priests, nuns and parishioners, who have ignored this evil and to correct it immediately.
These brothers and sisters of ours...deserve no less.

19 year-old funk-pop artist Philip "Pip" Arnold thrilled fans of NBC's "The Voice" back in 2012. His unique style and look earned him a spot on Adam Levine's team and a berth in the quarterfinals. On the next Catholic Cast, Pip joins Brent, John and Amber to talk about why he began this new ministry, what it's like to be a Christian following his dream of being in the music business and what it was like to be on "The Voice". The gang will also check in with the Atlanta Boys Choir's Reverend Neil Cardwell about their trip to Poland this summer to sing at different events celebrating Pope John Paul II's canonization and what the choir has in store for their new fall season. How can we follow the astonishing voices of our hearts to create lives of purpose, authenticity and joy? Inspiring author and filmmaker Baptist de Pape followed his own heart to launch and co-create the phenomenal The Power of the Heart film and book duo capturing the attention of the world right now.
From the director of The Secret, The Power of the Heart movie reveals the amazing power and wisdom of the heart through the voices of worldwide wayshowers such as Paulo Coelho, Maya Angelou, Deepak Chopra, Isabel Allende and Eckhart Tolle. Baptist de Pape is the author of the book by the same name, revealing insights of eighteen of the world’s greatest spiritual thinkers, authors, and scientists regarding how our hearts can guide us beyond limitations to our highest, most fulfilling potentials. Much more than a physical organ, truly following our hearts can lead to a dramatic transformation of every aspect of our lives.
Baptist de Pape's own path is one purely from the heart. After graduating from law school, with a lucrative employment offer from one of the world's most prestigious law firms awaiting his acceptance, Baptist realized that despite working so very hard for his degree, it wasn't truly what he was called to do in the world. Feeling lost and confused, in a moment of true transformation, a powerful impulse from his heart like he'd never experienced before told him to listen, to follow a path he had never expected. And the result is before us now: The Power of the Heart. Enjoy a spontaneous conversation with Baptist about the film, the book and his journey.

There are a lot of words the Bible uses that people today have no idea what they mean. Try this experiment: ask ten non-Christian friends what the word "gospel" means. Tell them, "I don't mean the music; I mean the message the the music celebrates. What's the message?" Changes are, they won't be able to tell you. But some words, everyone seems to know what they mean. Take the word "scapegoat" for example. Yet most people don't know the origin of the word. It's a Jewish concept, and it was first used to mean a literal goat that was executed in place of guilty people. Tonight we'll talk about its origins, on "Jewish Roots", an Internet pod-cast live talk radio show. Your host, Rev. Rick Anderson, each Thursday night 9:30 pm, EST. To call with a question or comment: 347-324-5759.
