    Today Laura Theodore, the Jazzy Vegetarian is celebrating the September 17th release of her new book Jazzy Vegetarian Classics: Vegan Twists on American Family Favorites and the BIG, September 19th fall premiere of Jazzy Vegetarian Season 3 on the CREATE channel all across the country. Laura will welcome Dr. Pam Popper, who is featured in every episode of season three. Dr. Popper will talk about many of the fruits and veggies featured this season and we will to share a ‘sneak peek’ recipe from the series! Dr. Pam Popper is a naturopath, an internationally recognized expert on nutrition and health and she is the Founder and Executive Director of The Wellness Forum.     Today Laura Theodore the Jazzy Vegetarian welcomes Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg who are the two-time James Beard Award-winning co-authors of numerous bestselling books. We’ll hear about their latest book: THE VEGETARIAN FLAVOR BIBLE.


    Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg are the two-time James Beard Award-winning co-authors of numerous bestselling books, including THE FLAVOR BIBLE, WHAT TO DRINK WITH WHAT YOU EAT, CULINARY ARTISTRY, and BECOMING A CHEF.  For their latest book THE VEGETARIAN FLAVOR BIBLE, the married couple shook things up:  They switched to a plant-strong diet in May 2012, and Andrew took on the book's four-color photography while Karen handled the research and writing.  A graduate of Northwestern and Harvard, Karen earned a 2013 Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell in conjunction with the T. Colin Campbell Foundation.  Andrew is a former professional chef who studied with Madeleine Kamman at the School for American Chefs and cooked at top restaurants in New York City and Boston.  The couple lives in New York City, and their website is KarenAndAndrew.com.

    Jazzy Vegetarian Vegan Travel Tips!

    Today Laura Theodore, the Jazzy Vegetarian welcomes Lisette Oropesa to hear great music and chat about eating vegan “on the road.” Laura will share her Jazzy Tips for snacks and meals that travel well! Soprano Lisette Oropesa has been hailed by The New York Times as an artist with a “magnetic” stage presence, and an “attractively silky, and flexible timbre.” The 2011-12 season sees her debut with the San Francisco Opera as Romilda in Xerxes, followed by Miranda in the new Baroque pastiche The Enchanted Island with the Metropolitan Opera (conducted by William Christie), Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail with Pittsburgh Opera and Ismene in a revival of Mitridate, rè di Ponto with the Bayerische Staatsoper, Munich. In concert, Ms . Oropesa appeared in Messiah (Part I) with the New Choral Society, made a notable debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in Carmina Burana conducted by Riccardo Muti, and presented a duo recital with baritone Brian Mulligan for the George London Foundation at the Morgan Library.     Today Laura Theodore, the Jazzy Vegetarian welcomes  singer-songwriter and vegetarian Laura Cheadle to chat about her music and fabulous recipes! Is Laura Cheadle a New Jersey native, who already has four successful albums out, including a Christmas Album. Laura has opened for The Jonas Brothers, Spin Doctors, Garland Jeffreys, John Oates/Hall and Oates, and Average White Band amoung others. Cheadle has been featured on ABC “TUNED IN" segment and NBC 10. Her music has been featured on the Hit Radio Station 93.7 voted Laura "Best Female Singer of 2009" and "Best Female Artist of 2010." Because of her active charity work, Laura was named a "Super Woman of South Jersey" in South Jersey Magazine. Laura recently appeared and performed on the NBC 10!
