On November 15, 2012 at the Historic Fonda Theatre in Hollywood Ameir picked up his first Hollywood In Music and Media award for best song, Color Me, in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Category. At his side was his manager, our Musical Host, Brenda Brown of Brenda Brown Entertainment.This year, Color Me, took home four awards from Indie Channel Music including Best Male Contemporary/Christian Artist for his song, The History and Best Recording for Color Me.

She has a Master of Arts in English/Creative Writing from Southern Methodist University and a B.A. in Professional Writing from Baylor University. When she is not working on Empirical or grading papers, she is writing a novel, and on weekends, watching movies and playing games with her five stepchildren.
