Endive was an original band formed in 1997. Over the years, the band has evolved through different stages, including a time when they were an established cover band in venues around Cincinnati including Beer Sellar, JB Finns, Mount Lookout Tavern, Millions, and many more. In 2006, Endive wrote and recorded the original album 33 Months, which can be found on cdbaby.com, iTunes, Rhapsody, and other similar sites. Endive's latest evolution is an acoustic cover act, but they are also in the writing stages of a second album with the full band.

DR. IZZY BAND - Exclusive Interview- Mon, May 25, 2015 -6 pm PST

Call In To Speak To Host: 718-664-6324

Dr. Izzy is a singer…many fans already know that Dr. Izzy is also BLIND. “I always tell people ‘There are so many ways too see’, she says, “You can feel peoples’ energy, discern their mood, through their voices and through the touch of their hand”. She adds, “I love to go up into the mountains here in Colorado. I can’t see them, but I can smell them! I think I remember what things actually look like, but there’s no way for me to really know at this point. I think I remember what colors look like, but who knows if I’m correct. I know what my minds eye tells me, so that’s what I have to go by”.

Born with full vision in Texas, she began to go blind at age nine. She grew up in Texas and rural New Mexico. “Certain things are imbedded in my memory from when I could see. I remember watching my Grand-Aunt Verna cut fried chicken with a knife and fork, and being appalled that we ate fried chicken with our fingers. My dad stuck up for us, telling her we were from Texas, and that was how we ate fried chicken in Texas”.

Singing is also something they do a lot of in Texas. From an early age her parents encouraged her to sing. “I remember being very young and my father got my sister and me to sing for my Aunts. I memorized a whole song, not a kid’s song, a grown up song. I remember thinking it was neat that I knew all the words”. Singing and memorizing lyrics at an early age would later prove to serve her well. Izzy was born with a beautiful voice, and she began to sing for a living in cover bands at the age of 18.

  • Interview with March to May Folk Duo from seattle

    in Radio

When is the right time to take a chance? Who are the right people? What are the right conditions? Neither Darren nor Beth re...alized the musical potential they had when they first met in December 2012. It took several chance encounters -- passing vocal harmonies on a trip to the coast with friends, tentative instrumental work one cold winter evening, comments here and there on lyrics and melody -- before the spark hit. But when it did, it didn't take long for them to catch fire. After playing over 50 shows in less than two years, they are releasing their debut album, The Water's Edge, in April 2015. http://www.marchtomay.com

March to May formed in the Spring of 2013 as a collaboration between singer/songwriters Darren Guyaz and Beth Wesche. Overla...ying Celtic folk harp, guitar & keyboards with rich vocal harmonies, they sing deeply relatable stories of every day life and what it means to love, to live, and to reach beyond what seems possible. They sing from the heart, and carry the listener to a place within their own imagination, their own story.
