With the recent deaths of 43 year old Eric Garner Staten Island, New York, 17year Michael Brown in St. Louis, there has been 16 deaths of Blacks at the hands of police officers since the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012. Has police brutality and corruption gone silent to the majority public ear and eyes? What is the medias true job in publicizing these events and have they done a proper job? Has selective prosecution become the norm? Since 911 has the police training camps and programs been tailored to treat all citizens as hostiles? or has the demonizing of people of color made them an easier target? To serve and protect or are they protecting who they serve? Should officers or color stand up against the brutality of the people that look just like them? As a citizen, Do you trust and feel safe with the law enforcement unit in your community? Do communities of color need to form their own defense lines to defend and retaliate against intruders and hired guns? Have you been a victim of police brutality or racial profiling?

Join me, Reggie Marston the house p. i. and my guests, Lynn Williams and Tyler Lacy from Humane Wildlife Conflict Resolution, a pest management company located in the Washington, DC metro area as we discuss how to minimize pest infestation in your home. As a home inspector, probably 95% of homes I inspect have some manner of pest infestation. Mice are the #1 culprit to take up residence in the home followed by squirrels, bats, birds and raccoons. But it's not uncommon to find snakes in the house as well as chipmunks and an occasional possum or fox hanging out under a porch of front stoop. Once pests enter the home they can do significant damage to the home, even to the point of causing a house fire, but can also transmit diseases as well as creating hazardous waste issues which can only be removed by specially trained personel. Lynn and Tyler's company practice humane methods to move the pests out of the house and back to nature. Most states require trapped pests be euthanized in lieu of moving them to remote location to prevent the spread of diseases from one location to another. Listen in to see how Tyler incorporates different methods to get pests out of the house and how he prevents them from returning.

Keyboardist/arranger/producer/recording artist Dexter Wansel can be heard throughout the catalog of Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff's Philadelphia International Records. In 1975, Wansel met Gamble & Huff when he was a member of a band called Yellow Sunshine, which also boasted guitarist Roland Chambers who would later become a part of MFSB, the house band for Gamble & Huff's Philadelphia International Records. Becoming a part of the staff creative collective, Wansel began arranging, playing keyboards, and writing songs for the label's acts including the O'Jays, Teddy Pendergrass, and the Intruders, among others. His skills can be heard on non-PIR sides like Jermaine Jackson's "Where Are You Now" from his gold LP Let's Get Serious and "Tonight" from Junior's Acquired Taste LP. His frequent songwriting partners were Cynthia Biggs, Bunny Sigler, and T. Life. A synth pioneer, Wansel's first LP arranging assignment was several tracks on Carl Carlton's 1975 LP, I Wanna Be With You, produced by Bunny Sigler. A Biggs/Wansel song, "The Sweetest Pain," a duet between Wansel and Jean Carn, originally a 1979 single from Wansel's Time Is Slipping Away LP, was a popular radio-aired LP from Loose Ends' Zagora LP. Wansel's own charting LPs were Life on Mars from summer 1976 (includes two tracks with Instant Funk,"Life on Mars" and You Can Be What You Wanna Be"), What the World Is Coming To, Voyager (with its great space-age oriented graphics) from spring 1978, and Time Is Slipping Away from 1979. Several tracks from his LPs were radio-aired LP tracks (the lushly orchestrated Theme From the Planets," the spacy, funky "
