A secret is powerful. Having access to a secret that only you know can be intoxicating. It can be a small thing or a big one but whatever it is, secrets allows one person or one organization control over another.
Secrets in a marriage can be absolutely devastating. That's why some people say, don't tell anyone anything. Or, the opposite -- let's have no secrets between us.
But a secret is a secret.

Tonight’s Diabetes Late Nite is inspired by the iconic musical group, The Isley Brothers.
Marvin Isley was the youngest member and bass guitarist of the Isley Brothers. Marvin remained a member until complications from his longtime battle with diabetes forced him into retirement in 1997. Having been diagnosed with diabetes in his early 20s, Isley's condition worsened to the point where he had to have both legs amputated.
A diabetes diagnosis can be scary, but ignoring it won’t make it go away. Learning to accept your diabetes takes time, energy and attitude. But once you learn how to accept your diabetes you can start to manage it and live better. The transition from denial to acceptance and all the stages in between varies for everyone.
Tonight Mr. Divabetic explores the process of ‘ACCEPTANCE’ with Dr. Beverly S. Adler PhD, CDE in the final installment of our series on the emotional side of living with diabetes. Additionally, ‘New York Times bestselling co-author, and former Senior Writer for People Magazine Mark Dagostino talks about his latest book ‘Ellie & Coach,' Professional Animal Trainer, Debby Kay, who specializes in scent detection work with dogs talks about the power of the human-animal connection along with Terri Seidman and Mama Rose Marie.
Throughout the podcast we will be playing selected songs from The Isley Brothers: The RCA Victor and T-Neck Album Masters (1959-1983), a monumental 23-disc box set collection chronicling the sonic evolution and abiding achievements of the unprecedented R&B ensemble courtesy of SONY MUSIC. This box set follows The Isley Brothers through their transformation from a 1950's doo-wop/gospel vocal group into the world's preeminent R&B rock 'n' soul powerhouse party band.
It's a new release and giveaway on November 2nd! Come join me as I read an excerpt from Runner's Moon: Yarrolam, Book 5 of my Runner's Moon Series. And one lucky listener will win a copy!
* * *
When they landed on Earth after escaping the Arra slave ship, Yarrolam swore he'd never do manual labor again after years of brutal slavery. Along with a fellow Ruinos, he came to understand the monetary system used by this planet's inhabitants, and became quite good at guessing the ups and downs of the stock market. So good, he was hired as an aide to Aaron Shulcrist, an investment broker.
What starts out as a favor to his boss to pick up Aaron’s fiancé at the airport becomes a race for survival as Yarrolam, now known as Liam, tries to keep Cherron Greene from being kidnapped by armed men determined to find Aaron, who has inexplicably disappeared. Worse, one deep breath of her unique scent tells Liam this woman is meant to be his life mate. But he cannot allow himself to claim her until she negates her relationship with his boss. And that may not happen if more of those men manage to get their hands on her.
The only place he knows where he can keep her safe is in a small town in Maine called Tumbril Harbor. There, he hopes he and his fellow Ruinos can face down any threat...be it from man or Arra.
Warning! Contains changing identities, scars, seemingly neverending bus trips, lack of a life mate user's manual, crispy disks, and the possibility of losing any chance to love the only person who would complete his life.

Get ready to be informed & inspired as Dwan Carter (LotusButter), & MXMGBTR Host Jazz' speaks on Essential & Exotic Body Oils - LIVE 10/29/2015 on BlogTalk Radio!
"In 2013, Dwan Carter decided to try her hand at creating her own product that way she would always know what is in it, what was going on her skin and where the ingredients came from, truly organic. With less than five readable ingredients her clients know what is going on their skin as well giving them a piece of mind.
Now Dwan is the CEO of Lotus Butter: Handmade Whipped Shea Butter and is putting her own mark on the natural product industry, “I believe that what we put on our bodies is as important as what we put in our bodies.”
When it comes to essential oils, as an esthetician we focus on the "five characteristics (olfaction) purity of scent, (vibration) resonation - life force, healing mechanism (antiseptic) anti- viral, anti-fungal etc., the (transdermal) absorption, and the physiological and psychological properties."

Last week: Avocado Seed, a Super Food. Use: wash seed, dry for a few days, pulverize, put in smoothy, yogurt, home made bread. Remember the 13 Health Benefits!
I use Flax Seed Meal instad of eggs to bake my home made bread. 3 scoops = 1 egg.
7 foods you should NEVER refrigerate:
1. Bananas - cold temps disrupts ripening process.
2. Tomatoes - they lose their flavor and become mushy in cold temps.
3. Coffee - cold temps destroy the natural oils within the coffee bean, the aromatic scent cannot be activated.
4. Sweet Potatoes - in cold temps starches turn into sugars, texture and flavor are destroyed
5. Avocados - cold temps disrupt the ripening process.
6. Apples - cold temps make Apples lose their texture and flavor.
7. Onions - get soggy in cold temps, smell up refrigerator and other foods
Conclusion: Buy only as much food as you can eat before it goes bad. Best way to have it fresh at all times is to grow your own garden. Vertical, horizontal, in ground, hydroponic...
