Essential Internet Marketing Strategies for Smart Entrepreneurs

    in Entrepreneur

Internet marketing is often a bottomless abyss, swallowing your entire budget and leaving you with very little to show for it.

It’s a challenge for entrepreneurs to figure out where to invest their precious marketing dollars in a cost effective way.

Tune in as host Hanna Hasl-Kelchner welcomes digital marketing pro Steve Hamm who will help us make sense of the on-line landscape and prioritize what’s realistic for small and mid-size businesses to accomplish with their digital marketing dollars.

Steve has a deep background in marketing and business development. He was a standout contributor from his early days in marketing and sales with $28B GlaxoSmithKline, having compiled a consistent record of personal achievement in developing growth strategies, revitalizing mature product lines, launching new products and generating increased sales and profits for his employers and clients.

He’s a creative thinker and skilled at zeroing in pinch points. He uses those talents to craft strategies respectful of your budget and time constraints to find solutions and identify new business opportunities.

His education includes an MBA in Management and Marketing from Wake Forest University and a BS degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from East Tennessee State University. He’s currently rolled up his achievements and experience as the owner of MaaS Pros Raleigh Durham, helping small to medium sized businesses "get found" online, convert visitors into qualified leads, and convert those leads into sales for your bottom line.

Steve is also the co-author of the book: 17 Legal Ways to Double Your Income.

Business Confidential is proudly sponsored by the Legal Leverage® Academy, a division of Business M.O., LLC.

    What is Unfair Business Competition?

    in Legal

The Unfair Competition Law, codified as Bus. & Prof. Code Section 17200, provides for injunctive and other relief for any business practice that is “unfair,” “unlawful” or “fraudulent.” This would necessarily include certain types of false advertising.

Join Bill and Rick to see how your business could be affected by unscrupulous competitors and how you can pursue such a claim if necessary.

How Safe Is It To Meet and Do Business Over The Internet?

    in Women

The world of business is changing. Decades ago, you could do business out of a catalogue, ordering merchandise that you saw in a book and send money to an address and your merchandise arrived. But you also knew that the items you ordered were stored somewhere in a warehouse with a physical address. You could track down your money and the product if it didn't arrive, and talk to live people who were responsible for shipping. Today, people order products over the internet based on a "virtual" location, and may even talk to an automated voice to place an order, or may leave a voice mail message and never talk to a live person at all. Business has become rather impersonal but we are able to connect to people around the world and buy and sell. This removes certain barriers of race, culure, religion, nationality and geographic location. But it also presents other issues. Who do you hold accountable if things are broken or lost or don't work when you receive them? How do you know your money isn't being taken under false pretenses? How safe is it really to do business over the Internet? What should you look out for to make sure you don't get ripped off?
