The Art of Practicing Compassion Observation ~ Empower Your Transition Process!

    in Spirituality

    Discover • Manifest • Transform!

During this episode, we will explore the powerful transformation tool of Compassionate Observation!  Our guest Co-Host, Francis M. Acevedo Franco, and I will explore the reawakening experience and the evolving transitions we encounter as we expand consciousness.

These transitions can be challenging, however there are tools to be had that can minimize the struggle and maximize expanded understanding.  Practicing Compassionate Observation, I believe, will greatly empower and ease the transition experience.  We will discuss what it is, how to use it, while sharing personal experiences as examples in action.

Please do join the discussion with your comments and questions by calling in or reaching out through our chat board!

    Together WE create the Shift!

  • Robots Are Here To Stay - Get Used to It

    in Technology

Ready for not driving yourself to work?  Or ready for not having work?  There are benefits and consequences ot this surge in robotic development - from Roombas to Androids - what is here, what is coming, and how will it impact our society and our work?  Tom and Deb from The Internet of Unintended Consequences (www.tiouc.com) interview Dr. Ayanna Howard from the Georgia Institute of Technology, to explore these questions and more - are you ready to interact with robots or we are likely to be replaced by them?

Dr. Ayanna Howard is the Motorola Foundation Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her B.S. in Engineering from Brown University, her M.S.E.E. from the University of Southern California, and her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Her area of research is centered around the concept of humanized intelligence, the process of embedding human cognitive capability into the control path of autonomous systems. This work, which addresses issues of intelligent control as well as aspects of human-robot interaction in real-world environments, has resulted in over 180 peer-reviewed publications in a number of projects – from scientific rover navigation in glacier environments to therapy robots for the home. Her unique accomplishments have been highlighted through a number of awards and articles, including  USA Today, Upscale, and TIME Magazine. In 2013, she also founded Zyrobotics, which is currently licensing technology derived from her research and has released their first suite of therapy and educational products for children with special needs. She is currently the Associate Director of Research for the Georgia Tech Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines.
