This weeks topic is nurture. We know that nurture is important for a child. To be nurtured and given the food, shelter, and love that is required for a child to grow. Is nurturing still important as we grow into womanhood? If so how do we nurture ourselves? What is it to nurture as an adult? And why even get the nurturing we need.
Today we will discuss the how, what and why, of nurturing as an adult.
We always hvae two choices in life. To choose the path of self-destruction or the path of Self-nurture.
Most of us have had something horrific happen. We have been traumatized and "marked" with the self-destructive ability. How do you, in that moment of decision, self-nurture. What does it mean to choose self-nurture over that natural instinct of negative belief or negative action?
Today we will be discussing the difference of these two paths and there is a choice, only, between the two.
We will aslo talk about empowerment tools to self-nurture and what you can do in that moment of decision.

This week we have been talking about nurture.
What it is
How to choose the path of self-nurture and know when we are on the path of self-destruction
Allowing the healing touch to nurture
Nurturing our wants
And today we are going to go to the core. The ultimate nurturing is that of our core values.
To be on a quest to find the core values and then to live in the daily is the ultimate way to let go of control, live in our divinity, and to allow great ease in our lives.
Dis-ease is us being out of ease. To find that ease again through nurturing our greatest assests, our values.
So, you think you are so darn smart? Is that what you think of your boss? Do you have a boss who graduated at the top of their class and was in an organization of smart folks? Does that matter to you? Would you rather work around someone who can quickly solve problems and get right into action than have a committee of educated folks who have to discuss the problem and think about it and then have another meeting or two before they patch a leaking faucet? What does intelligence have to do with life? Let's talk about how so many things happen in the workplace based upon perceptions rather than placing those perceptions into a picture.
You might see life differently if you understand how easily we were programmed into believing in unnatural emotions within a limited world where so much of the system is based upon emotions that are not natural to love. Yes love can lead the way and intelligence will evolve into integrated thinking (neothink).
This week would not be complete without talking about the power of healthy touch to nurture.
In our experience there has been many with fear around healthy touch. Many haven't received a massage or allowed touch to bring more understanding about the body.
Today we are discussing the importance of touch and how to overcome some of the fears. We will also be inviting those that listen to put money and time aside to nurture self through a massage or energy work.
What matters most in shaping who we and our children will be--their genes or their environment?
Host Dawn Davenport, Executive Director of Creating a Family, the national infertility & adoption education and support organization, interviews Dr. Danielle Posthuma, Head of Department of Complex Trait Genetics at the Center for Neurogenomics and Cognitive Research at the Neuroscience Campus in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and co-investigator for a recently released study on what twin studies have shown about nature vs. nurture.
