Bankers and War: Corporations and financial institutions in wartime

    in Entertainment

Welcome to The Gospel of Truth: Injecting Liberty and Freedom into the minds of man.

After being out for a few weeks it feels good to get back to the mission of Liberty and Freedom.

On this weeks show we bring up the questions of:

Why do we go to war?

    Who profits from war?

"Let us not forget the bankers who financed the great war. If anyone had the cream of the profits it was the bankers." - Major General Smedley Butler (MC)

If we take a look at all major wars we see that banking institutions always end up with major profits.

War is the most efficient debt-creation machine. For starters, wars are very expensive. War is good for banks because a lot of material, equipment, buildings and infrastructure get destroyed in war. So countries go into massive debt to finance war, and then borrow a ton more to rebuild.

Are banks playing both sides of the field?

Would American corporations sell goods and services to the enemy during wartime?

Join us as we analyze what a gentelmen by the name of Michael Rivero put together... All Wars Are Banker Wars.

Marriage and Family—The Institutions (Part 4)

    in Religion

In the early evolution of the marital mores, marriage was a loose union which could be terminated at will; among primitive peoples only about one half the marriages proved satisfactory.  The ideals of marriage have made great progress in recent times, but young men and women should be taught something of the realities of marriage before they are plunged into the demands of family life.

Marriage and Family—The Institutions (Part 3)

    in Religion

In the early history of marriage, various forms of communal associations evolved as men and women took the first steps toward living pairwise.  From the herd, to one-man-at-a-time, to group marriage, to polygamy, marriage progressed toward monogamy.  True monogamy is the yardstick which measures the advance of social civilization and forever will be the idealistic goal of human sex evolution.

Marriage and Family—The Institutions (Part 1)

    in Religion

Marriage has progressed through many variations, from loose and promiscuous matings, toward ever higher standards, culminating in the union of one man and one woman to establish a home of the highest social order.  The family, which grows out of marriage, is itself a stabilizer of the marriage institution; but the real influence which safeguards marriage and family is the fact that men and women positively will not live without each other.

Marriage and Family—The Institutions (Part 2)

    in Religion

The ancients mistrusted love and promises, so a marriage was secured by a deposit—the purchase price of the wife.  But eventually, to avoid the appearance of selling their daughters, fathers offset this price with presents—the bride’s dowry.  Primitive man also turned to priests and magic for insurance protection against marriage failure, and this movement culminated directly in modern church weddings.

Can Independent Black Institutions Solve The Education Crisis?

    in Women

Public schools are closing in cities across America and the ones that remain open are questionable when it comes to offering relevant information and preparation for life in a safe learning environment. But whereas public schools have often been dismal failures in America's urban areas, private, culturally based schools have had tremendous success. What is the missing ingredient. Haki and Safisha Madhubuti, founders of The Institute of Positive Education, discuss their journey as educators, publishers, and founders of several learning institutions that focus on African history and cultural values. As IPE prepares for an anniversary celebration this weekend, the Madhubutis reflect on the social andfinancial challenges involved in running independent schools.
