The VOC Nation Radio Network traces its roots back to 2009 in suburban Philadelphia. Bruce Wirt took over the afternoon shift on the Voice America Health and Wellness Network and proclaimed himself, “your new ‘Voice of Choice’ in afternoon radio.” The V-O-C in VOC Nation was born.
Over the next 3 years, Wirt took his act to Philadelphia radio, eventually settling in at independently owned WNJC 1360AM. The VOC Nation Radio Network spun away from WNJC in October 2012 and took to the “cloud”, using their solid fan base to instantly become one of the most listened to mediums on the Internet. In 2014, VOC Nation merged with Brady Hicks' IN THE ROOM Internet Radio Network, giving the combined medium over 50,000 monthly listeners.
VOC Nation Radio streams live programming 7 days a week, and has forged partnerships with BlogTalkRadio, Stitcher Internet Radio, Podomatic, iTunes, and GoDaddy to bring daily live entertainment and downloadable podcasts to listeners worldwide. VOC Nation has over 100,000 twitter followers and has consistently ranked in the top 1% of downloadable podcasts as ranked by Podomatic, and in the top 5% of live streaming programming as ranked by Stitcher Internet Radio.

Zone P is a producer/rapper/writer all in one. Burgeoning from the DMV area, his music captures listeners with quality and reality. Encouraging others to pursue any dreams and goals they have in life. Zone was quickly catapulted to provide that same motivation through self produced beats and life experiences.
Born Michael Jenkins, music has always been apart of him. Coming from a musically inclined family, only validated the passion and contentment of becoming a rising star. He started rapping at an early age about his surroundings. It was therapy for him to express what /how he was feeling about anything. That led to Zone creating music from scratch with his own distinct sound. Consisting of eerie synths, triumphant horns and somewhat a r&b feel, his music would put the listener in a "zone". He soon chose to name himself Zone. Adding P at the end for "production", which was quickly abbreviated to a single letter. He went on to self producing 3 mixtapes that were accepted locally. With no management, a buzz was created, but wasn't big enough to capture ears and reach the right hands. Not one to be discouraged, he kept pursuing a music career in hopes of finding proper management.
Zone is in a lane of his own. Claiming the DMV as home and inspiration for "zoned out" tracks and thought provoking lyrics. His message through music is motivation for everyday living as well as life in general. From the hood to the suburbs, young to old, male to female, all genres of people relate to it. Zone is hitting the streets with quality music and hot production that only adds fuel to the fire! World get ready.....
****Listen out for Zone on the Young Women of Empowerment Mixtape entiled "Faith 2 Believe," set to be released 09/01/2014.****
