About Beg- So many of us call ourselves animal lovers and worship our dogs and cats—but we could be using that love as a force for helping all animals. Beg is a battle cry on their behalf, as well as an inspirational, empowering guide to what we can do to help them.
Find out how you can become a better animal lover on today's show.

Join me and Thommi for a Mid Career Edition of Loving Mondays and Everyday of the Work Week.
Members of the baby boom generation are moving into what we typically call the "retirement" phase of life, but they are not having it. They are simply not ready financially, emotionally or otherwise to ease out or be pushed out of the work world.
They have initiated a new phase of work as they search for work that answers their calling, work where they experience a deeper sense of purpose, fulfillment and sustained joy.
Marc Freedman calls them "encore career pioneers" in his book, Encore: Finding Work That Matters in the Second Half of Life.
This is just one of many discussions we will have on this topic that you do not want to miss; spread the word!
We really want to hear from you, so get your questions ready, call in to the show, post them below on my Facebook page, or click and send them here. We would love to hear from you!

Back from the woods and trails of Maine, Nicole Freedman resumes as director of Boston bikes program. We talk about safety, driver/cyclist relations, HubWay expansion, cycletracks and more.
Boston lacks the broad, rectangular layout avenues that make separated cycling feasible in places like NYC. Freedman already has a record of designing and creating Hub-specific alternatives. We'll ask what her second wind will bring.
Note: Nicole was busy as always. She comes in about 24 minutes in, but we get a good 20 or so minutes from her. Her comments are worth waiting for or advancing the program.
