Your brain is like a massive computer that holds 100 billion bits of information from every moment of your life. It creates shortcuts to remember more and retrieve it faster. The more you experience something, the stronger the pathway. Every time you see a hard surface attached to four legs, your brain identifies that object as “a table” . The brain creates new neural pathways so that we can learn new things and commit them to memory. The more you focus on something, the stronger the pathways.
So when you imagine something that you desire; having an image of you with it --- thinking of it over and over again, a strong neural pathway is created. So the brain more easily spots circumstances and objects that you desire as if the area becomes filled with things that your desire. With seeing so much of what you desire, you believe that you will get it so that there is confirmation bias, a term that means your brain is looking for or interpreting information to confirm its beliefs. This is another way of saying, you expect and allow yourself to receive what you desire.
Negative manifestations of this are seen every day in everyday language. “I knew it was too good to last”, “ I was waiting for the other shoe to fall”, “ No good deed goes unpunished”. The expectation of “bad” prepares us for bad and very likely “causes” the bad to happen through the process just described. When your brain focuses on something, it thinks you want more of it and moves to action in that direction. So keep your dreams front and present in my mind:
Post Notes with positive messages in places that you will see them often like Inside of kitchen cabinets doors; Schedule one-minute visioning where you take one minute every day day to envision something you want; Verbalize Your Desires so other people will help you get it.
We're Exploring Kitchen and Bath Trends on the "Let's Talk Home" Show Tonight!
Our special Guest will be Jacob Herskovits from TileBar. We'll talk about cabinets, and vanities and faucets, but our main focus will be on creative ways to use tile in these spaces. I am in the middle of a home remodel and am very excited to try the tile that mimics the look of hardwood flooring. My client in Atlanta had it installed in his basement build out and I love it! We'll take a fresh look at glass tiles and try and figure out the best patterns for a sophisticated and modern home.

We have all seen the quotes and memes about friendship. Even the Mayo Clinic published an article about the impact of healthy friendships on your life"Good friends are good for your health. Friends can help you celebrate good times and provide support during bad times. Friends prevent loneliness and give you a chance to offer needed companionship, too" (Mayo Clinic, 2014).
Friendships are easy to create; but, like a relationship they take work to maintain. Today, we are going to talk about our friendship over the past decade! We have had disagreements (like the time we bought furniture at IKEA but Sharon didn't want the boxes in her truck), we have had weeks where we were so upset with each other that we would only text or Instant Message but wouldn't speak; and, we have had times when the pain was so deep all we could do is simply sit beside each other without any words.
So pull up a chair, grab an iced chai tea latte, and get ready to dive inside our mind as we talk about not just our friendship over the past decade but also friendships that have really impacted us--both good and bad.
Join Allie and Scarlet as they welcome the Love Artist to talk about selecting the perfect sex furniture for you.

Poison Prevention Week (March 17 - 22)
Pittsburgh, PA - More than 2 million poisonings are reported each year to more than 57 poison control centers in the US. Over 90% of these poisonings happen in the home. National Poison Prevention Week, which was established in 1961, is March 16-22, 2014. It is important to raise awareness of preventing poisoning not only from medications but also from many other common household products and invisible gases like carbon monoxide.
There are many ways to prevent poisoning from medications:
Proper medication use can reduce the amount of old medications remaining around the house. Taking the medications as they are prescribed, and not forgetting to take them can help.
Knowing the signs and symptoms of side effects from medication overdose. Ask your pharmacist or doctor about the information.
Proper medication storage can prevent medications from going bad. Most of the medications can be stored at room temperature. Do not store your medications in moist areas, including bathroom cabinets.
Proper medication disposal can reduce potential poisoning in children and pets. Medications can be ground down and mixed with either kitty litter or coffee grounds. You can put the mixture into a container or an envelope and throw away in the trash.
National Drug Take-Back Day is April 26, 2014. Locations will be announced on April 1st and you can take any of your old medications, even if you do not know what it is.
When you suspect poisoning from anything, call the poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
Pharmacists have promoted poison prevention with many different programs. Stanton Jo

Director of Retail Operations
Truth be told, I have been known to drop by the HabiStore in Tucson just to see all of the crazy, fun “stuff” you can find roaming around there. From gently used (and sometimes looks like NEW) furniture to cabinets, refrigerators, washer and dryers, to storm doors and maybe even that can of paint you were looking for are among the many treasures you might discover on your trip to the Habistore. Needless to say, running the HabiStore is a big job that’s not just about selling used items. This is a BIG job and a BIG operation – including recycling metal, recycling things they can’t sell and recycling donated items to other non-profits. You will enjoy listening to Mr. HabiStore himself, Terry Dee. Please plan to join us.
