Identity Thief is a fairly new comedy starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy. A man finds out that his identity has been stolen by a woman and involves the frustrating nightmare that can take place when such a thing happens. All the hijinx that take place as the man tries to resolve the issue by tracking down the woman is hilarious. Still, this kind of problem is presenting itself for many people during these harsh economic times. One finds even the most intolerable can get under our skin and become a friend

Have you found yourself developing a deeper relationship with someone you least expected either from high school, work, or possibly someplace like the gym? The old adage looks can be deceiving surely applies here. People who may seem like they are nice may turn out to be awful friends and visa versa. Let's talk about the effects of identity theft, friendship, and family identity. Remember Good films evoke strong emotions! -Doc2BBerry
If the Bible teaches that Jesus' coming is as a thief in the night, how is it possible to teach that he has already come? Doesn't the concept of coming as a thief in the night negate the probability of knowing the time of his coming and the fact that he has come? In today's broadcast we examine the scriptures related to the Son of Man coming as a thief in the night.
What do these Scriptures tell us about the return of Christ. How do they fit within a fulfilled perspective? How do they intersect with the cross currents of futurist eschatology? What clues are there which may impact the dispensationalists view?
While we will do a brief survey of these issues, we encourage you to check out the book, "He Came As A Thief". It is a quick read that should only take about an hour of your time but has a tremendous amount of solid information. The message you will hear in the broadcast represents my own perspective and approach.

Will a man rob God- Yes they will. How do you rob God and his house of his Money? No church meetings, no published budgets, always asking for money but building nothing. These are some of the tail tell signs of getting ripped off by your Pastor. Yes your Pastor, even the dollar bills is cleary printed "Trust in God". What motiviates Pastors to steal. Ignorance, failure to use and follow common sense. unanswered questions, failure to follow the law and use basic universally accepted accounting principles are signs of a problem. The selection of under educated Deacons and Trustee who are yes men and women who fail to protect the interest of the church. These thieves can't do this on their own. They have to set this all in motion. Failure to properly investigate those potential pastoral candidates and overlook criteria just due to the desire to get a pastor as quickly as possible just leads to problems futher down the road.
Americans have always felt valued by what they do. It is ingrained in us. We think we are what we do. “The world around us teaches us that purpose come first,” Barnum says. “Find purpose, find identity.” But that is exactly what Jesus taught against. People need more than just what is true, they need real.
Join us on The River today as Jeannie and Maxine chat with Thad Barnum, author of Identity; How Americans Value Themselves at Work and Home, about how to find identity outside the cultural norms.

Free Wi-Fi seems like a great feature, especially when you are on vacation or need to transmit information on the go. However, connecting to free Wi-Fi networks can put your private information at risk. In this segment I will be further divulging in the dangers of free Wi-Fi and what you can do to prevent identity theft and fraud.
There are more than 220,000 public Wi-Fi hotspots in the US. Through these networks, hackers can easily intercept information like your name, address and even credit card numbers. This is especially dangerous this time of the year as many people leave on vacation. 9 million people fall victim to identity theft every year. Public Wi-Fi is unsecure. When using free Wi-Fi take into consideration that everything you do is visible to anyone else using the same network. The chance of your personal information getting hacked far exceeds the chance of your home getting burglarized.
Many hackers will set up fake hot spots which look like legitimate Wi-Fi networks. Users are connecting to these networks are actually connecting to a “rogue access point.” Users are directed to legitimate-looking websites that asks for information such as credit card numbers. If you are prompted to reenter your username and password or if the web browser suddenly says the security certificate is invalid, you may be connected to a rogue access point.
Many men are caught in a vicious cycle of role playing. We often act out what our; neighborhoods, society, statistics, experiences, and the media suggests. Who and what we are has more to do with what we honestly see and believe within ourselves. But when we don't define who we are we give the power to others to tell us who we are, and then we become it. When this happens we have an identity crisis. Join Zion and in-studio motivational speaker Titus Broom as they discuss the male identity crisis in the men's room.
