"In Other Words…" with Mike Muhney

    in Entrepreneur

You know what Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and apps are, right? Well, my guest today, Mike Muhney, and his partner, Pat Sullivan, are the ones who created it.  Out of desperation, Mike says.  They needed a program to do what a CRM does and there wasn't one, so they built it.

ACT! came onto the market in 1987 and is still one of the top sellers.  But ACT! is for PCs and Mike fell in love with Apple products, so... in 2011, he, Max Pucher, and Kristi Kuykendall put out VIPorbit.  A few weeks ago as I write this, they replaced it with Vipor.  And it gets even better.  It's free for iPhones and iPads.  And his next project is an app that can be used across platforms.  So your iPhone will be able to communicate with your PC.  The hits just keep on coming!

Also, Mike wanted me to tell you that anyone can contact him directly by email: mike.muhney@viporbit.com

    4 iPads and an Orchestra

    in Music

"Like all boys growing up in the early sixties, I was fascinated by space exploration," said  Anthony Hose, conductor of the Stetson University Symphony Orchestra. "And, of course, I wanted to be an astronaut."

While it is not quite the same as floating among the stars, Hose did conduct the Stetson University Orchestra performing the American premiere of Voyager written by Warren Greveson, who was inspired by Voyager 1 and 2, two spacecrafts launched in 1977 on a grand tour of the solar system. Voyager is composed for four iPads and an orchestra, and accompanied by a film by Maurice Lock.

In this interview, Hose, Greveson and Lock talk about the music and the inspiration from 37 years of research collected and sent back to Earth by the two Voyager probes.

HAVE WE LOST THE PERSONAL TOUCH??

    in Self Help

Have we Angels? In this day and age of Iphones, computers, Ipads, smart phones, and ALL the conveniences that we have as a Society. AND, HAVE WE LOST THE PERSONAL TOUCH?

The reason why this came to me is because the other day I saw an App o an IPAD that allowed yourself to put your face into a video and "play", so to speak!

Angels, when I saw that I laughed so hard and could not believe that WE as a Society have chosen to "play" in that way! What happened to us actually playing physically!

Have we chosen to have our "feelings" via a computer or Ipad or text message or voice phone? I see us moving to a digital society and that is great yet HAVE WE LOST THE PERSONAL TOUCH?

Where in your life do you no longer choose the personal touch? Where have you become "used to" text messages, video games, apps, and all that for "FUN" in your life?  Join us for an excellent conversation, great meditation, affirmations, and much more right here @ www.blogtalkradio.com/buzzardskorner-of-love Tuesday Dec. 9th at 4PMpac/7PMest

Mikhail Skachko - EZ Power APP Creator

    in Entrepreneur

In this interview Energy Specialist Mikhail Skachko shares with Jack how he has been helping businesses save money on their energy utility bills. You'll quickly see why he is recognized as a leader in this important industry.

In today’s culture, energy is one of those things few of us can do without. Just imagine having no electricity or gas to power our techie toys, heat or cool us and entertain us. This electricity and gas come at a cost, however, and a cost we can’t avoid paying every month.

Mikhail has discovered the ins and outs of saving money that are often hidden or unknown to commercial customers. He is a highly ethical energy broker and believes in full transparency from the energy companies about the costs and fees involved. In fact, he has won the Distinction of Excellence Award from the Better Business Bureau for three years running.

More recently, some of these same happy commercial customers asked him to help them save money on their home bills.Much to his dismay, he found that there were no good resources he could offer his customers to help them with their home energy bills.

This led him to develop a mobile application that gives easy access and information to consumers on their smartphones.

His mobile app shows only trustworthy companies in which he feels confident will continue to be in business for the long term. He also insists that they show all the options so customers can compare companies in an apples to apples way with full transparency as to what rates they’ll be paying every month.

His EZPowerApp.net will be available for both iPhones and Androids.
