Matt Harrak & Justin Czerwonka (and sometimes Cameron Dougharty) battle it out over WWF/WWE Trivia with a special guest, "The Wrestling Wife." The HTC Crew then run down their predicitions for WWE Extreme Rules 2014!
[itvt] is pleased to present an audio recording of a TVOT 2015 Grand Finale session, "The Reality of Virtual Reality." The session, which was organized and moderated by Brian Seth Hurst, Managing Partner of StoryTech, was described in the show brochure as follows:
"With the arrival of the Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard; with the holiday season promising the Valve/HTC Vive powered by SteamVR, to be followed by Oculus Rift in Q1 2016 and Sony's Morpheus by Q2; and with FOVE, billed as "The World's First Eye Tracking Virtual Reality Headset," seeing a highly successful Kickstarter campaign--it seems that VR, after years in the lab, has finally arrived.
Yet, while development is fast-moving, challenges remain for the industry. Now that the tools are being refined, what about the artistry of immersive, forward-moving narrative, the convergence of game and story, the responsibility for the safety of the consumer, and the business models? How are the game developers and Hollywood studios responding, and what are the true opportunities presented in entertainment, journalism, education, tourism, medicine and more? This session will bring together leading creatives and other key figures from the Virtual Reality space to discuss the current state of, and future prospects for, this rapidly emerging medium." Panelists included:
Shannon Gans, CEO, New Deal Studios
Arthur van Hoff, Founder and CTO, Jaunt
Brian Seth Hurst, Managing Partner, StoryTech (Moderator)
David Marlett, Founder, Cinemersia
Robert Nashak, COO Survios
Helen Situ, Virtual Reality Evangelist, NextVR
Brent Young, President and Creative Director, Super 78 Studios

We're back like that terrible Dinosaur's Story!
We'll see what the hosts are playing this week, and then jump into...
MAAARIOO KAAARTTTT EIGHT!! Mario Kart 8 is out for the WiiU, and it's uh, so so good. We'll check in with Matt, Beau and Randal who will chat about the game and how much they've been enjoying (and not enjoying) it.
Then we'll talk about Watch Dogs. Was it worth all that wait and all the hype?
After a brief chat about Wolfenstein, we'll jump over to the EA Sports UFC Demo, and then over to some gadgetry with Beau - namely the HTC M8 and a possible revisiting of the Ouya.

Good evening technologist! While I was on the phone with another technologist, we had a passionate discussion about the problems we see with how technology is advertised to the masses. Guess what folks? I'm going to talk about that tonight during this after dark edition of the Technologist KS3 Radio Show.
Ever wonder who runs the ultra-popular Twitter account, @WWECreative_ish/"WWE Creative Humor"? The account has over 118 thousand followers that include World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, ESPN's Robert Flores, WWE Champion John Cena and many, many more. But no one really knows who is behind "WWECreative_ish". Is it someone that works for the WWE? Someone backstage that feels the need to be heard without all of the corporate filtering? Or maybe it's someone with no connection to the WWE, TNA or any wrestling organization at all? (It's not that one.)
For the first time, the former member of WWE's Creative Team & the man behind the pseudonym opens up to HTC's Matt Harrak with what inspired him to start the account, what it's like to receive responses from the Superstars he's poking fun at and why he's kept the popular account going for so long despite never receiving a dime.
