Before joining the Chamber, he was a broadcast journalist for eight years working as a sports anchor and news reporter at KWWL-TV in Waterloo, Iowa; sports director at WNCF-TV in Montgomery, Alabama; and sports anchor and reporter at KOTA-TV in Rapid City, South Dakota.
