Show 47: Herb Shaffer - Mixing MSOL and Ministry

    in Education

Today, John Stanko speaks with Herb Shaffer, the founding pastor of New Song Community Church and the director of the institute for Servant Leadership. As an MSOL alumnus, Herb recognizes the value of effective leadership and strives to live that out in his many endeavors as a leader, teacher, trainer, mentor, motivational speaker, and writer.

Beginning from scratch in 1990, Herb has worked with New Song Community Church through the organizational phases from its birth to its maturity and has exemplified servant leadership as he used his God-given abilities to pour into and build up the congregation. Additionally, through his director role with Servant Leadership, he invests in the lives of laypeople and pastors to develop them as leaders for local congregations. His unique experience with ministry and MSOL has also presented him with the opportunity to educate others via college courses in the areas of leadership, organizational dynamics, critical thinking, communication, and life development.

Tune in as Herb recounts to John the ways in which MSOL has impacted his service in both the ministry field as well as in his other roles!

Divine Inspiration with your Host Alicia Monet

    in Spirituality

REBIRTH: Detoxification, Purification, and Edification. Once I left the Cult I had some serious SELF work to do. First things first, I had to detox. All of the poison stored in my body, mind, and spirit had to be released. Next, I needed purification. In other words, I needed to get clear, reset, start fresh, begin new, and free my body, mind, & soul. Finally, the edification process. I had to uplift myself mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Join me as we discuss the importance of these three steps in your REBIRTH. Many people believe that simply cleansing the body by way of food and/or exercise is the only cleansing necessary for your growth, neglecting the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspect of it. My guests Life Coach/ Yoga Therapist Joy DeMichelle Ysaguirre, and the Herb Alkhemyst will share their amazing cleansing and healing products with you along with their beneficial insight.
