Segment one of Heath's show asks the question:
Are you about to experience a big, fat "Google slap?"
Silicon Valley web designer and developer Karen Sielski says, "Yes.. unless your website is mobile friendly."
Many business owners could see the website rankings they've worked so hard to achieve tank overnight. Google has decided to penalize those sites it deems unfriendly to smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices. This could have a devastating effect, especially on those who sell their wares online or who rely on search to drive customers to their businesses.
Karen will also discuss the importance of creating sites that are aesthetically pleasing AND track well in search, and how to have sites that look like they cost THOUSANDS, while only spending HUNDREDS.
What is the #1 Complaint of Business Customers?... Feeling as if businesses don't really care about them...
Part 2 of the show continues our theme of personalizing the digital age- automating without losing that human touch. Heath welcomes Carl Maerz, COO of the innovative referral automation company Rocket Referrals. Carl will talk about why database marketing is so critical to achieve success in your business, and how you can automate the process without losing your humanity.
Letting your clients know how different you are by showing your genuine concern is the first step in creating a referral process that really works.

On today's program we answer the following questions with the help of special guest Leah Bell, author of The Angry Grad:
· How is a college degree different today than it was just two or three decades ago?
· Why is it so difficult for college graduates to find jobs and pay back their student loans?
· What other options are there?
Leah Bell learned the most about life, not in the classrooms of the colleges she attended, but in the years following. After realizing the struggle in the job market, the difficulty of paying off student loans, and the heartbreak of sacrificing priceless time with family to meet financial needs, she and her husband have devoted their lives to sparing people of this depressing fate through their company Neotrep™, providing entrepreneurs with affordable education and tools to succeed. Jill Gibson Bell is the daughter of legendary radio and music man Jack "The Rapper" Gibson. He was a long time radio DJ from the 50s and maybe even the late 40s. Jack starred in the first radio soap opera drama to feature an all black cast, "Here Comes Tomorrow." In 1949, he opened the first Black owned and operated radio station in America-Atlanta’s WERD. Jack the Rapper is also credited with developing a new design for radio control rooms where he elevated the equipment forcing disc jockeys to stand. This greatly improving their voice projection and his idea has been copied all around the world.
Jack the Rapper was the first National Director of Promotions and Public Relations for Motown Records. He led the successful campaign to have Stevie Wonder’s records “unbanned” in South Africa. Jack the Rapper is considered to be the father of Black radio and came from that ilk of people who created a unique style of on air announcing. Famous DJs like Daddy O, Jocko Henderson and numerous others often incorporated rhymes in their daily chatter. This should be a wonderful conversation and look back at a very rich history.
