You love your ADHD kids. You know they learn best from experience, but learning experiences can be painful, so you shield them from their natural consequences. Does that really help them? What is the value to your child if you put off the learning? The older they get, the higher the stakes get. In this episode of Attention Talk Radio, guest host Caroline Maguire (http://www.necoaching.com) and ADHD parenting expert Elaine Taylor-Klaus (http://www.impactadhd.com) discuss the parent’s dilemma: How many more years do you want to shield your ADHD child from the realities of life? How can you teach them to fail forward and learn from their consequences without feeling like you’re waiting for a train wreck to happen? If you are a loving parent of an ADHD child, listen to this insightful interview.

My apologies to all, but I've got more to do on getting additional income for my dear old dad, so back y'all go into the Wayback Machine while I chase down all this information, fill out all the forms, and maybe even move him again even closer to Hard Starboard Galactic HQ to save him some additional dough.
Will we be back live tomorrow? Who knows? Tune in to find out.
....of running out of assisted living destinations for dear old Dad near Hard Starboard Galactic HQ. We narrowed it to two, one turned him down, the other is thinking about it, and I'm still stuck waiting by the phone for the verdict. If it's yes, the Big Move goes forward early next week; if it's no - because he's in worse shape than any assisted living faclity can handle - then he's stuck over in Wenatchee until a long term care spot opens up over here. Unless, of course, there are no such spots over there either. Maybe then they'll just wheel him out to the nearest street corner and leave him there.
So the Wayback Machine sojourn continues.
Nick & Joanna are following up on using Ayurveda and Hypnosis during the lifespan. Following the shows on pregnancy and childbirth, and last week's show on Ayurveda for Kids, today they will be focusing on how Hypnosis can be used to nurture and nourish a child's unique nature and help their emotional and psycholigical development right from the start.
By knowing an understanding your child's unique nature or constitutional type, you will learn how foods, exercise, activities, and daily & seasonal practices can be implemented to support healthy development of the body, intellect, emotions, and spirit. This also sets kids up for cultivating the best habits as they get older that will help them reduce stress and age with grace and ease.
Learn what practices can help the growing number of kids who are facing obesity, stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression and other health-related concerns that can put them on medications pre-maturely. We'll also explore the reasons why some illness present themselves predominantly in childhood due to the energetics of this part of the lifespan.
This show will focus on how hypnosis can help kids manage emotions, behavioral problems, and plant positive suggestions that cultivate self-love and and acceptance, thereby helping children know their inherent self worth and deservingness to create a life of health, vitality and joy!
