Join us as we discuss - HandsOn Suburban Chicago Announcing Social Media Collaboration HandsOn Suburban Chicago (HOSC) is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Linked Local Network (LLN) to create customized local web pages that distribute news, information, and content on targeted geographic and topical areas. The idea behind this collaboration stemmed from HandsOn Suburban Chicago’s mission to support their community partners, the more than 180 nonprofits, schools and organizations in the 45 core Chicagoland communities that they serve. “The opportunity to partner with LLN and leverage the immediate benefits of a robust social media network on behalf of each of the communities, schools and nonprofit partners we service is very exciting. This will allow us to highlight these successful organizations, empowering them to share their services and critical programs, publicize upcoming events and promote timely opportunities for volunteers to help make their funding dollars go further,” said HandsOn Suburban Chicago’s COO, Chris Smith. With Linked Local Networks’ current 600,000 connections, this collaboration creates the ideal platform for spreading the word. While HOSC’s core focus is on 45 communities in Chicagoland, as part of the HandsOn Network with affiliates nationwide and internationally, this model can be replicated globally. The Bears (5-9) host the Detroit Lions (10-4) in a game that can help determine the NFC North race. The Lions are a game ahead of the Green Bay Packers, and can clinch the division today with a win and a Packer loss. The Bears close out their home portion of a very disappointing season by changing quarterbacks against one of the top rated defenses in the NFL. Jimmy Claussen will have his hands full with a Detroit front four led by the best defensive tackle in the league. Can the Bears look competative? Will the Lions keep their foot on the gas? We break it all down after the game.
The Big Jack and Dan the Man agree that the greatest job in the world is to cover sports. Whether it is in our backyard with Jay Cutler and the Bears, D Rose and the Bulls. Dan the Man didn't and won Sports Time Radios first Yahoo Fantasy Basketball League, not only defeating The Big Jack but also Sports Time Radio's resident Fantasy Expert, Mr Fantasy! Bears | Fantasy Football | Steak Dinner Bet | Cubs | Bulls | White Sox |
Larcher didn't make it to the finals in fantasy football due to a tie breaker. His solution was a side bet with Lorensen, who made the finals, where the loser buys the other a steak dinner. We through in some Bears, Bulls, White Sox and Cubs. John (@JfugginB) was back to handle social media.
