Bomb Control Doesn't Work; Will Gun Control?
We live in a violent culture where stabbings, shootings and even bombings have become the norm. We love our violent movies and TV Shows with Law Enforcement Investigating Murders and we love our violent video games and our Gangster Rap. Let's face it; this is the culture we live in. A culture of violence. But now it is becoming a little too real for us. Now we, all of a sudden, want all the violence to simply go away. So, Gun Control is the issue, which many expect to do the trick. But does Bomb Control Work? Bombs are illegal and so are the explosive ingredients that are often used to make them. Background checks are required under all circumstance to buy TNT, C-4 and other similar substances. Yet, we have had bombing after bombing and another one just this past week!
So, what is the real answer? What is the real problem? Who is really to blame? Are we doomed to a culture of violence, forever and is this the nation and world our kids have to look forward to? Let's talk about the Politics, the Faith & Religion; let's talk about Drugs, Alcohol, Gangs and Mental Illness; let's talk Economics and let's talk Family; let's discuss TV, Radio, Video & Education. Surely, all of these factors weigh into either the problem or the solution.
