We are using Luis on the Acoustic Guitar and a live microphone to feed the sound system while at the same time send a feed to my show
Joseph is acting as the Audio Engineer to make all this happen
This show was an experiment to see what would happen and served as the start of the learning curve
The first show we did was http://www.blogtalkradio.com/techstoryteller/2014/05/22/dj-battle-rehersal DJ battle rehearsal
I think you see some improvement as we try new things

I had so much fun doing a show Eric Stollsteimer at Caveman Vintage Music that I had to do a show with Erik Bailey the resident Guitar Expert
We spent about an hour talking about old Guitars and what make them sound so good, how to fix /not fix electric guitars being a Guitar tech on tour, being a Guitar tech when things are good and when things go bad.
Being a CTE Electronics teacher in my other life I even found topics to share with students like signal flow, trouble-shooting, and pickups, topics I can share with my students
We talked about Guitars and their stories.
It was a very interesting and informative show and I want to say THANK YOU to Erik for spending some time in the back room of Caveman Music in Chinatown, in Los Angeles California
BY the WAY Erik is looking for a Mastin GT-70 Electric Guitar in Black with Bigsby 1960’s vintage
For the first show please go to

Professor Gregg Hammond~ Musician, Mentor, Guitar Teacher, Philanthropist, Author. Born in DC Gregg's family moved away in the late 60's to escape the violence of the riots. The move landed him in the Florida Keys where he grew up and learned to live in the natural surroundings, worked teaching fishing, snorkeling, & exploring in the backcountry islands of the Keys. Hurricane's destroyed his guitar studio and then his home. With his dog and a guitar, he began a journey to find a larger purpose for his life. He traveled highways and wilderness mountains, searching for his truth. Returning to DC in 2002, Gregg experienced violence in the streets. His father and he were randomly attacked by a gang of kids in 04. Held at gunpoint by teens in 05, and nearly ambushed again from another gang in 06. These experiences compelled him to take action to make a difference. He founded GNG DC, and volunteers his time, wearing many hats within the charity to keep it going. He has witnessed miracles in the classroom. His VISION includes bringing the world together, all playing the same song at the same time, featuring many of the Guitars Not Guns students up on the stages with great musicians like Paul McCartney, U2, Ben Harper, and Sting to mention a few on the list.
Mike Raine had the chance to take in the 2014 edition of M for Montreal at the end of November, which featured a great lineup of bands - from last week's featured interviewees BadBadNotGood to the likes of July Talk, The Dying Arts, and more.
In this week's edition, we've got interviews with many of those artists - The OBGMs, Betty Bonifassi, and Lydia Ainsworth - speaking to each about their time at the festival and other current affairs.
Also in this episode, we speak with Brian Murray, the organizer of Guitar Workshop Plus. GWP offers sessions in Toronto, Vancouver, and for the first time next year, San Diego, where students of any skill level come together in a cool and relaxed environment to study guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, and voice. Each year, attendees get to learn from and interact with some of the world's most heralded musicians, including previous guest artists Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Rush's Alex Lifeson, and a whole lot more.
