Guiltless Cult is the brainchild of Tennessee-via-New York songwriter Terry McClain.
The music is a fusion of ‘90s alternative, ‘70s hard rock and ‘80s melodic punk—upbeat, sometimes very heavy, and catchy as hell. Think Foo Fighters, Lenny Kravitz, Frank Black, Bad Brains, Nirvana. Think good stuff.
Help Me Out, the debut release from Guiltless Cult, was made in the Spring of 2006 and voted one of the best local cd's of that year (Greg Haymes, Times Union). Now with the follow up album "Welcome to the," (July 2010) the band is just getting its kicks and rocking with the spirit of psychedelia and punk. The ending features a special guest (Albie of The Black Fuel), ending with an ode to the music that started all of rock-n-roll...the blues.
Terry McClain: Guitar, vocals, bass, keys
John Brodeur: Drums, bg vocals
Eric Halder: Guitar, bg vocals
Chris Neuhaus: Bass
Albie Von Schaff: Lead Guitar on Wasted Blues (Gtr left)

An extraordinary interview with Bel Baca, a beautiful young woman who was born and raised in a sex cult. The cult was known as "Children of God", or COG, founded by David Berg who used the pseudonym Moses David, and lived in total seclusion and secrecy from his followers along with Karen Zerby who after his death continued to run the organization, and changed its name to "The Family International".
Bel, as a child who believed she was in a Christian group, was unaware the Bible's words were being twisted to suit the “prophet's”nefarious purposes. Shocking revelations during this interview include a 4-year-old Bel being witness to an orgy in which her open-marriaged parents were involved, as well as the way in which Bel came to find out the “prophet's” son violently reacted to years of sexual abuse. By the grace of something or other, Bel escaped and is a beautiful young woman on a mission to tell her story. She is in the process of writing a book to be published in early 2015. We will keep our listeners in the loop when the book is published.

Shocking revelations during this interview include a 4-year-old Bel being witnessing an orgy in which her parents were involved and sexual abuse from "old men" who won her trust and then tried abused it. Bel escaped and is a beautiful young woman on a mission to expose cults and paedophilia. She is in the process of writing a book that will be published in early 2015,
In this preview to the interview, we will be discussing our thoughts about cults and the power of persuasion. Being able to be persuasive is a valuable skill but it can be lethal in the wrong hands. Phone in with your views.

Today, the Church is under fire from multiple enemies but all too often, it is the apostates within who prove to be the most dangerous.
The gospel of Universalism--everyone will be saved--strikes at the very heart of Jesus' command to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel." If everyone will be saved, why do we need to tell them anything at all? And then there is the insidious lie--with the taint of Hinduism--that Christianity is just one of many equally good ways to get to heaven. But Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me." He refused to allow any compromise and He taught more on on hell than He ever did on heaven.
